Job Profile Summary
A Cloud Application Service Architect is a pre-sales persona working with clients in a value co-creation process and internal sales and delivery teams resulting in the design and demo Managed Services solutions across all technology domains. Key focus areas include Client Experience, Service Management, DevSecOps process/tools and secure data API integration and hybrid delivery modelling. Designs often involve consulting and customized multi-product/multi-vendor solution elements with hardware, software, and cloud services.
They are responsible for the development of competitive, innovative, secure, multi-year, viable Managed Services solutions and associated costing inputs to commercial models.
The Services Architect will apply both solution design and sales skills to engage and help close opportunities with decision-makers. They spend a substantial amount of time in front of clients supporting the other internal sales expert teams such as sales, partners and services delivery teams; the delivery teams that will manage the client’s solution, continuous improvement and deliverables. Building and developing excellent stakeholder relationships with this virtual team, fully understanding the client and the industry in which they operate will contribute to the success of this role.

In some instances the Senior Services Architect will remain engaged during and post the implementation of services designed and may be required to participate in renewals.
Knowledge, skills, and attributes:
- Display excellent client service orientation and strive for client satisfaction
- Broad understanding of technical applications, infrastructure, integration architectures, cloud architectures, data and security integration practices, and DevOps
- Ability to lead technical design workshops with the client and NTT stakeholders
- Ability to design, manage and close a technical proof of concept on a vendor product
- Working knowledge as an architect in technical architectures, platform, cloud architectures, integration practices, and DevOps (e.g., applications, data center, cloud, network,collaboration)
- Good understanding of project management processes and methodologies
Academic Qualifications and Certifications:
- Relevant qualification (Technical or Business)
- Certification and working knowledge of Cloud Architect Azure, AWS, CGP
- Certification and working knowledge inMicroservices (Principle, Patterns both greenfield & brownfield), Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), Enterprise Access Integration (EAI),and Integration Patterns
- Certification and working knowledge with Cloud, Data Center, Applications platform integrations, RESTful APIs,including JSON, XML, and SOAP protocols
- Certification and working knowledge with Software Development Lifecycle and tools, SAFe/Scrum/Agile methodology
Experience required:
- Recognized track record in the area of business analysis and platform architecture
- Experience with Service/Application/Infrastructure and Cloud Architectures, Microservice (Principle, Patterns both greenfield & brownfield), Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), Enterprise Access Integration (EAI), and Integration Patterns
- Experience with Cloud, Data Center,Applications platform integrations, RESTful APIs, including JSON, XML, and SOAP protocols
- Experience with Software Development Lifecycle and tools, SAFe/Scrum/Agile methodology
- Expertise and sound knowledge on platform design best practices, including operation of platforms
- A background as a system administrator or developer would be advantageous
- Demonstrated experience in and with all operational aspects of a Services business, preferably with a Systems Integrator
- Understanding of project management principles
- Experience in the process of developing and implementing new services and systems
- Experience with SAFe/Scrum/Agilemethodology (scale agile framework enterprise)
- Deep technical background and In-depth knowledge and understanding of IT industry environment and business needs, combined with a strong understanding of the business process, applications, and infrastructure architecture
