You will play a crucial role in enhancing our operational efficiency, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights for trade teams. You will be responsible for analyzing vast datasets relating to cargo flow operations and segmentation, vessel and customer profiling, as well as container inventory movement to drive informed decision-making.

The Opportunity:

Adecco is partnering with a global leader in water filtration solutions and we are seeking a talented individual to join their business as a Logistics Executive. Reporting directly to the Operations Director, the successful incumbent will lead a team of 2 store assistants on daily warehousing activities, overseeing the movement and tracking of finished products and raw materials, and improving the operations of material flow.

• Work location: Tuas (company transport available from Jurong East)
• Work hours: Mon-Fri, 9am-6pm
• Salary: up to $5,500 + AWS

The Job:

• Lead 2 store assistants on daily logistics operations.
• Coordinate and follow up on import and export shipments and deliveries with suppliers, forwarders and key customers.
• Oversee and manage daily warehouse activities.
• Perform order fulfillment, including order tracking, generating invoices and following up on billings.
• Prepare shipping documents and ensure documentation accuracy.
• Provide general administrative duties such as data entry, filing, generating reports and documentation.
• Generate non-stock purchase order.
• Handle incoming calls and attend to visitors when necessary.

The Talent:

• Min. Diploma in Logistics and Supply Chain Management or any other related field.
• Minimum 3 years of working experience in warehouse management, prior experience in leading a team.
• Strong communication skills, and ability to liaise with native Chinese-speaking stakeholders, locally and internationally.
• Must be comfortable with manual paperwork and operationally hands-on in daily operations.
