Responsibilities:

· Management, operation and maintenance of power plant and ancillaries.

· Liaise with MOM, NEA for Boiler annual statutory inspections and report submissions.

· Prepare procedures, checklist and training materials to train maintenance team and operators.

· Coordinate with maintenance and engineering department and contractor for attending the respective works.

· Closely monitor Chimney emission and control the combustion as per relevant government laws and regulations.

· Ensuring the overall efficiency of the boiler and optimization of the treatment process.

· To assist fully with and help implement and manage all Health, Safety and Environmental practices.

· Any other ad-hoc duties assigned by supervisor.

Requirements:

· Min Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.

· Min 3 years working experience in the relevant field.

· Experience in Power Plant industry is an advantage.

Roles and Responsibilities

The applicant will join Engineering Team and involve in laboratory work and field piloting.

The applicant will

· Support/lead engineering activities at field piloting such as installation and commissioning of equipment by working closely with customer, contractor, and equipment fabricator.

· Operate field pilot, sampling, and data collection

· Support analytical lab and laboratory testing

Requirements and Qualifications

· B.Sc., M.S. or equivalent experience in chemical engineering, environmental engineering, or related field.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Serve as a technical expert for one or more high power and high voltage converter topologies and control subsystems or features, capable of independent decision making for critical technical issues
• Applies broad knowledge in sensors, power electronics control algorithms, electrical hardware design, software, signal processing, and data analysis methods and tools to drive power converter hardware design, control system and product development to improve product efficiency, minimize losses and increase power density of converter systems
• Leads the development and integration of innovative control system solutions to enable stable, efficient, and reliable production of grid tied power converters
• Leads the design and building of tools that allow debugging, analysis, and evaluation of control system performance. Leads the root cause analysis for control system failures in products for integration and fielded units during escalations
• Leads the electrical converter design and topology selection for improved product features to increase product market penetration and differentiation
• Provide guidance on PCB design, test and evaluation on specific control circuit board including gate driver, microcontroller board and others
• Conduct various device characterizations including design and development of verification test systems
• Lead and perform integration activities with mechanical and firmware team to troubleshoot the control system, design and execute test plans and test automation, and to develop and test the power converters
• Lead in the design failure mode and effects analysis (DFMEA), design for manufacturing, and design for cost reduction efforts
• Support on product certifications and compliance

• Advance power electronics design: In depth knowledge on designing different converter topologies used on advance power electronics systems for the high voltage and high power applications

• Algorithm Development: Develop control algorithms and strategies for power converters to improve dynamic response, fault tolerance, and performance
• Modeling and Simulation: Create mathematical models and perform simulations to validate control system designs and optimize performance
• Software Implementation: Collaborate with software engineers to implement control algorithms in embedded software and firmware
• Testing and Validation: Design and execute test plans to validate control system performance and robustness
• Hardware Integration: lead and coordinate the integration of control electronics with power converter hardware
• PCB Design and Development: Work closely in the PCB design activities including test and verification

Qualifications

• Proficiency in control system design, analysis, and simulation tools (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink)
• Strong programming skills in languages such as C/C++ for embedded systems
• Experience with hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing and control system validation
• Knowledge of grid integration, grid codes, and power quality standards is a plus
