• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related field.

Experience

• 5 years QAQC experiences in EPC projects.
• Knowledge in Inspection of Pressure Vessel, Piping, FRP tanks, Rotating equipment such as pumps, fans, agitators, etc.
• Knowledge in Non-Destructive Test such as RT, UT, PT, MT and able to interpret test results.
• Able to read, understand and interpret technical requirements, quality procedures, drawings, P&ID.
• Detail-oriented and have strong communication skills and able to work with people from all levels.
• Experiences in wastewater, desalination, water utility, incineration, power plant packages are preferred.
• Comfortable working within a fast-changing environment, ability to multi-task and cope with ambiguity.
• Strong communication and interpersonal ability, coupled with influencing skills.
• Strong verbal & written communication skills (English and preferably Mandarin)
• Independent and a self-starter, with strong personal drive to initiate and implement.
• Good knowledge of documentation procedures.
• Hands on experience with pressure vessel, PED & MOM requirements, EN standards.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct tooling Contract review, mold design review, mold trial review, project review meetings
• Liaise with Designers, manufacturing Engineers, Planners on the progress of tool fabrication to achieve 100% on-time delivery
• Provide timely updates and Gantt charts to BD group
• Attend mold testing and perform molding process optimization to achieve part consistency quality
• Study FA report for dimensional rectification according product form fit functions as required by the customer
• Lead team in problem solving – identification of problems and analysis of the root cause
• Liaise with suppliers for mold outsourching on all tooling related issues
• Provide BD with technical support and customers with tooling feasibilities; Prepare quotation for engineering change requests

We are looking for Lead Cloud Engineer, who will enable our Cloud Native transformation efforts in alignment with the next iteration of our customer’s technology transformation journey, all with the goal of driving developer velocity and therefore business agility and value. This role will see synergistic collaboration with senior leadership and teams/squads of product-minded architects, engineers, and application developers, who are passionate about “building cloud applications and not just applications in the cloud”.

What will you do as an Cloud Engineer, Technology Group?

Enable Cloud Native transformation strategy and roadmap

• Enable the next iteration of cloud strategy by planning and executing against the vision for an agile organization that leverages cloud native to take full advantage of cloud computing
• Communicate the case for and benefits of increased cloud native adoption to senior stakeholders, business units and business solution teams
• Enable roadmaps and pathways for the rationalization and modernization of applications to just-right cloud services, platform, and architecture within our hybrid cloud (public and private) ecosystem
• Measure and track progress of cloud strategy through the development of effective Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that set the conditions for successful cloud native adoption, culture, behaviour, and differentiating business outcomes

Enable Cloud Centre of Practice and Excellence

• Champion and exemplify cloud native practices, including cloud native philosophy, architecture, principles, and culture
• Lead product management, including research and proof-of-concept, for emerging cloud native services and platforms, for example, enterprise containerization, landing zones, orchestration, and automation
• Define cloud reference architecture, standards, and processes within the enterprise, for example, provide opinionated landing zones that comprise a set of policies or rules to enforce a security baseline and prevent non-compliant activities
• Perform cloud governance role in disciplines like identity & access management, tenant/account management, security & compliance, and billing
• Provide common tooling, solutions, and patterns for cloud native adoption and developer enablement, productivity, and self-service

Deliver Cloud Engineering and Operations

• Implement opinionated set of technologies, on top of cloud service provider(s), to consolidate institutional knowledge, tooling, patterns and practices; and deployable artifacts to production
• Provision cloud services to developer teams based on pre-stipulated service level agreements
• Manage the maintenance of virtual appliances, for example, AMI, and base container images
• Manage cloud operations disciplines like patch management, network configuration, certificate management, logging agents, and intrusion detection
• Steward cloud spend and budget, including the monitoring of cumulative usage, identifying of areas for optimization, managing reserved instances (RI) and negotiating on committed spend agreements
• Manage support vendor partnerships through regular vendor stewardship meetings and service level and escalation reporting

Provide technical leadership

• Provide technical coaching and mentoring to enterprise architects, application and infrastructure teams on cloud native architecture, philosophy, and practices

What qualifications or skills should you possess in this role?

• At least 8 years of relevant experience in delivering hybrid cloud strategies, operating models, and technology service management practices
• Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent
• Some return-on-investment and business case development experience
• Strong communication abilities to influence key stakeholders ranging from C-level executives, MDs, CISO, application architects and subject matter experts
• Proven track record of delivering cloud applications on Amazon AWS and Microsoft Azure using cloud-native design and patterns
• Proven experience in designing microservices, event driven architecture using open source, .NET, NodeJS, Python, Java, message queues, streaming, databases, and cloud data services
• Extensive experience in architecting applications and automation technologies to meet the expected standards of availability, agility, capacity, resiliency, and security
• Hands-on experience with cloud technologies including, Docker, Kubernetes (particularly RedHat OpenShift 4.x), Infrastructure as Code, Service Mesh, Immutable Infrastructure, and declarative APIs
• Hands-on experience automating full lifecycle management of application hosting platforms in data center and public cloud using DevOps practices and CI/CD methodologies
• Strong understanding of Infrastructure and Platform Automation technology products such as Amazon CloudFormation, VMware vRealize Suite, HashiCorp Suite, Puppet, Ansible, and Chef
• Strong understanding of AGILE, LEAN or SaFE methodology

The Quality Engineer applies engineering principles and techniques to meet the quality targets and organisational objectives in a manufacturing environment. He/She also assists in analysing manufacturing and quality issues make recommendations for out of control processes.

In addition, the Quality Engineer participates in quality improvement projects in accordance with organisational objectives.

The Quality Engineer is required to have strong communication skills, good teamwork and an analytical mind to perform his/her role well to achieve the desired organisational outcomes.

1. Plan, design and construction management of Mechanical services for all types of building projects.
2. Mechanical services include Air-conditioning & mechanical ventilation system, fire protection system, sanitary, plumbing, gas and swimming pool filtration systems.
3. Provide support in project management and contract administration for building engineering contracts.

• Perform all roles and responsibilities required of site supervisors under the Building Control Act, regardless whether their names are stated in the form BEV_B1;
• Ensure that all the civil & structural and M&E works are constructed in accordance with drawings and specifications and the Building Control Act and Regulations;
• Lead the RTOs to monitor, supervise and inspect works as directed by CAG, the project consultants, QPs and/or SRE;
• Supervise concreting, pavement, drainage construction works (applicable for C&S);
• Carry out checks on compaction and curing of concrete (applicable for C&S);
• Carry out checks on striking of formwork, re-props and removal of props (applicable for C&S);
• Carry out checks on quality & erection of precast components (applicable for C&S);
• Check on structural steel works (applicable for C&S);
• Check and assess temporary works and ERSS by the contractors to ensure that the C&S, M&E and building works are safe and in compliance with all relevant regulations;
• Carry out coordination of all services, help resolve contractors’ queries and provide feedback on site issues, discrepancies and irregularities to QP(S), project consultants and/or CAG ;
• Review contractor’s submissions (shop drawings, method statements, risk assessment, test plans, soil sample test results, test cube results, DSM core results etc), and report any non-compliance with the Contract and authority’s requirements to CAG, the project consultants and/or QP(S);
• To ensure CAG emergency preparedness protocols are adhered to by the contractors during trial runs or actual emergencies;
• To attend site, progress, variation and coordination meetings and to keep proper minutes of these meetings. To follow up and report to QP(S), QP(D) and CAG within two (2) days for site issues raised during the meetings;
• Attend QAQC meetings, monitor and check on quality on all works and materials on site; take measures to rectify any non-compliance and report of any materials that are not conforming to the Specifications;
• To facilitate the timely taking over of site parcels to be handed over by other contractors and highlight any issues that will delay the progress of the works;
• To take and carry out instructions from and represent the QP(S), QP(D) and CAG on site;
• To review all drawings (including shop drawings, construction drawings) and method statements and risk assessments to ensure that works are carried out in accordance with the approved plans for discrepancies and report to the Superintending Officer / Contractor / QPs, including checking of as-built drawings and Operation & Maintenance Manual submitted by the contractors and ensuring that the required construction tests associated with the construction works are carried out where necessary;
• Coordinate and compile the As-Built information for record purposes timely.
• Monitor the quality and progress of defects rectification works when necessary.
• Ensure that daily records of all civil and structural engineering works including records of tests, defect rectification, inspections, work progress, material and equipment on site, safety, site diary, labour force, day works,provisional items or provisional quantities etc, are updated in a timely manner and properly kept;
• Keep accurate records of variations as instructed or approved and to maintain a set of updated drawings on site;
• Together with the safety team, provide overview of WSH and aerodrome safety management systems and risk analyses and implementation of safe working practices on site, provide safety oversight and ensure main contractors and their sub contractors adhere to the approved safe work
• procedures for the works and all relevant CAG and regulatory safety requirements; ensure mitigation controls in updated risk registers (Programme/Aerodrome/DfS) are duly implemented on site;
• Liaise with all relevant authorities;
• Adhere to the shift duty roster assigned;
• Undertake any other duties includign administrative tasks related to the project as and when instructed by the SRE, Consultants or CAG

Qualification:

• Minimum four (4) years of relevant experience as a civil & structural engineer, of which at least 3 years shall be in supervision of works in projects similar in size and complexity; in particular deep excavation and foundation, cut and cover tunnel works and building works;
• Possess a civil and structural engineering degree recognised by the Professional Engineers Board of Singapore;
• Accredited with the Joint Accreditation Committee of the Institution of Engineers Singapore and the Association of Consulting Engineers Singapore;
• Lead C&S and/or geotechnical site staff to monitor, supervise and inspect works as directed by CAG, QP(S), SRE, the project consultants and FUI owners. He must possess good leadership qualities, organisational and inter-personal skills;
• Conversant with statutory code and requirements for site supervision, quality control procedures, construction administration and submission of progress report;
• Possess strong supervision and leadership skills;
• Must be willing to work shifts.
