RESPONSIBILITIES

Routine tasks

A. Ismart Factory

1) Identify and develop plans for iSMART Factory to achieve digitization of key processes in the manufacturing operations.

2) Co-ordinate all resources from various departments to effectively implement Ismart factory initiatives.

3) Provide training where necessary to ensure systems are implemented effectively and sustained.

4) Provide framework and guidance for mass data analytics to ensure maximum benefits are derived from digitization process.

5) Coordinate and manage IT support activities.

B. Technical Support

1) Lead / participate in Engineering Projects as assigned and provide technical and documentation support to ensure new processes, equipment are tested, qualified and properly set up for mass production.

2) Create Work Instruction (WI), Process flow, FMEA and Validation protocol as required.

3) Provide training to Production staff like Engineers. Supervisors, technicians, operators where necessary to ensure proper handover of Projects for mass production.

4) Drive Lean Manufacturing to eliminate and/or reduce waste or any activity that consumes resources without adding value to operations.

5) Provide training to Technicians on automation, new processes or changes to processes or equipment.

6) Provide timely engineering support (as assigned) in failure analysis and troubleshooting to production to resolve quality/ production problem.

7) Develop, implement and refine assemblies and test operations through process simplification and

modification to drive continuous improvement programs to reduce cost of production non-value added

activities.

8) Identify, develop and implement process automation programs to enhance productivity

C. Software Programs management

1) Set up a system to control / maintain, properly file, manage changes and distribute all Software programs for Production and Engineering department.(These include PLC programs, Robotic programs, Micro processor programs etc)

2) Perform regular audits to ensure existing program revision in use is in compliance with documented revision in the system.

Responsibilities

1. Define and Document Equipment process requirement and specification.
2. Perform Process characterization to optimize critical process paths in order to meet equipment specification.
3. Review, simplify and optimize Internal Buy Off specification for equipment together with Quality Assurance Department.
4. Participate in continuous process improvement activities to enhance Equipment capability.
5. Support Equipment manufacturing activities by helping to trouble-shoot and resolve process-related issues
6. Support other internal departments to handle customers’ process related issues and recommend technical solutions
7. Perform data analysis using statistical techniques and conduct process capability studies
8. Transfer process knowledge to in house Engineers and Technicians to ensure optimal equipment performance.
9. Equipment UPH projection calculation base on specific process parameter.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

1. Degree in Production / Mechanical / Material Science Engineering
2. At least 3 years experience in an equipment manufacturing environment with a process engineering and background
3. Strong interest in the development of new manufacturing processes
4. Experience in process design and control in the area of laser marking process.
5. Knowledge in Material Science will be added advantage.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Perform installation and maintenance of the IT infrastructure (Hardware and Software) including remote troubleshooting.
• Provide day-to-day tech support for the clients.
• Help to add hardware and other applications as required for the clients.
• Support of replacement and upgrade for computer & server equipment.
• Monitoring and maintenance of the System (hardware and software)
• Respond to all incident / service calls to troubleshoot and resolve incidents including basic repairs or parts replacements

The ideal engineer for this role is comfortable working in a dynamic and creative team charged with ensuring quality of many critical applications. The successful engineer will work closely with cross functional teams to develop robust solutions that will improve productivity and ship releases with high quality. Minimum Qualifications

• More than 6 years of experience in Software Quality engineering with at least one object oriented programming language such as Java and related frameworks
• Prior experience with relational databases (e.g. SQL), Open source testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Gauge, Playwright etc), working in Linux/Unix environments
• Advanced knowledge of creating Quality automation frameworks from scratch, QE automation architecture, methodologies, processes, and tools
• Working knowledge in Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud platforms such as AWS and GCP
• Experience automating functional & integration testing of applications on Apple operating systems and devices
• Experience testing in Java, SQL, Unix, Scala, NoSQL, and Web Services (Rest & SOAP) environments
• Expertise with continuous deployment systems using Maven, GIT, Spinnaker, and Jenkins; define branching, tagging, and code merging strategies
• Experience testing highly scalable and distributed platforms
• Experience with Continuous Integration (CI), Behavior Driven Frameworks (BDD), and setting up QE environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Solid foundation in CS fundamentals with proficiencies in data structures, algorithms and software design preferred.
• Knowledge of security domains including areas like PKI, Certificates, Cryptography, OWASP & ModSecurity is a big plus.

Job Description

The Senior Software Engineer is to support the company’s on-going technology innovation and implementation of system solutions to support our bus fleet management. The incumbent is expected to work from 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on weekdays. He/she is largely expected to work in an office environment, although he/she is likely to be required to travel to our off-site offices for meetings/training support. On occasion, he/she may need to work outside official hours on weekends to support in the running of special programmes.

Main responsibilities

1) Participate in design, full-stack development and maintenance of our in-house system solutions.

2) Report to IT Manager to plan technical direction, project schedules and assist in identifying high-level functional and technical requirements with regard to solution’s architecture design.

3) Support Management and Users to define and implement new software functionalities and product add-ons.

4) Implement solution adhering to good coding practises and using standard development methodologies and test-driven development.

5) Work closely with IT Manager to ensure software quality by preparing and providing guidance, unit tests, functional tests, release management and delivery planning.

Required Qualifications:

1) Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.

2) 5 or more years of working experience in software development.

3) Experience in implementation of Software as a Service (SaaS) architecture in an online environment.

4) Extensive knowledge of C#, using Visual Studio, Webforms, MVC and Entity Framework. Other required skills are HTML5, Boot Strap, CSS, jQuery, MS SQL Server, Crystal Report and Web Services.

5) Experience in writing SQL queries for SQL Server is required. Other Relational Database will be a bonus.

6) Knowledge of Azure Cloud platform administration is preferred.

7) Ability to use version control software such as GitLabs or similar is preferred.

8) Good understanding of Test-driven development methodology (TDD).

9) Experience using or implementing REST APIs.
