The Director will also be responsible for identifying emerging opportunities and challenges in the region, developing forward-looking strategies, and exploring new partnerships to accelerate the energy transition. Additionally, they will provide guidance to partners, monitor project deliverables, and advise on risk management and reporting.

Duties and Responsibilities are as follows:

Management of Program Leads

• Manage a team of passionate and experienced program leads, including, but not limited to, Bangladesh, Pakistan, and Organisational Development, providing them with the right guidance and empowering them to do their best work.
• Manage and support regional program leads as the organization grows.
• Working alongside the program leads to proactively scanning the countries and regional policy, energy, and economic environment for emerging challenges and opportunities for Tara’s work.
