• Coordinate with NOC, smart hands and equipment manufacturers to resolve issues and restore service.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Experience in Subsea Operations, Deployments and Technology with 8-10 years industry experience
• Technical experience in telecommunication networks in the subsea optical transport networks including DWDM, network infrastructures, IP Networking equipment, optical testing, optical measurement principles, experience with photonic layer
• Knowledge and experience of Subsea and DWDM technology.
• Knowledge of Subsea technology including open cables, WSS ROADMs, Branching Units and Repeaters.
• Experience understanding architecture for system dependencies and translate these into deployable solutions.
• Experience in analyzing situations, troubleshooting, systems and tools, and problem solving.
• Experience managing and switching BU’s, WSS BU’s
• Experience managing PFE and troubleshooting complex subsea power and grounding issues.

Responsibilities

• Prepare QA/QC procedures, Project Quality Plan, Method Statement, checklist and inspection form with project team members
• Monitor daily site QA/QC activities, ensure that QA/QC procedures, Method Statement and Project Quality Plan is adhered by the project team members
• Conduct raw material inspection, site inspection, testing, post installation check out (PICO) and issue QA/QC inspection report
• Monitor and ensure all the tools and equipment are calibrated when it is due and update in Tools and Equipment List FY XXXX
• Investigate the cause of non-conformance with project team members and recommend corrective / preventive actions, if require to prevent recurrence
• Ensure that all audit findings on non-conformance findings / reports and punch lists are properly addressed and closed together with the client
• Ensure proper documentation and filing of QA/QC records
• Conduct internal quality audit based on project quality plan and client requirement
