Duties to Perform

The senior Gas Engineer will work on designing, tendering, and monitoring the installation of bulk gas and special gas systems for industrial properties in semiconductors, electronics, biopharma, and related industries. The gas systems include bulk gases, high-purity inert gases, flammable gases, corrosive gases, hazardous gases, and related distribution networks.

The senior Gas Engineer will collate the client’s capacity requirements and specifications and prepare the conceptual design, make a detailed design for system capacity, configuration, schematic, P&ID, PFD, layout, distribution, and system parameters, and prepare documents like the scope of work, reports, specifications, standards, logistics, and detailed drawings for tender. He or she will review proposals from contractors and continue to support them during installation when required.

The successful candidate will work closely with other disciplines such as architects, civil, cleanroom, electrical, automation, mechanical, and construction engineers, as well as CAD/ BIM designer in designing and delivering the project.

Requirements

You should have a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering or equivalent.

(i) Translate / refine high-level requirements into the architecture and engineering specifications of the firmware system

(ii) Design, develop, integrate and debug/troubleshoot the embedded system / MCU related hardware to meet the defined objectives, targeted cost and schedule.

(iii) Support the development and execution of relevant test plans, including unit test, integration test and system test to verify and validate that the product is able to meet all requirements.

(iv) Support functional and reliability tests to ensure safety and performance of the overall product systems.

· Generate and maintain the necessary documentation for the firmware systems, including design documents, firmware architecture, schematics, SOP/work instructions, Device Master Record (DMR) and other documentations needed to meet the regulatory requirements such as Design History File (DHF), IEC62304, ISO13485 & FDA 21 CFR Part 820.

· Oversee firmware design change orders and support any relevant verification and validation activities.

· Support ad-hoc administrative duties as and when required to ensure smooth operation of the company’s activities.

DESCRIPTION

The Junior Structural Engineer reports to the Project Engineering Manager and shall be responsible for technical compliance with all design requirements and coordination with the necessary Client and Subcontractor’s discipline engineering professionals. Junior Structural engineer shall ensure that all de-signs comply with the requirements of the Work; that all Work is efficiently and effectively executed in accordance with the criteria, specifications and standards listed in the CONTRACT; and that the designs comply with safe and reasonable standards as accepted within the offshore oil and gas industry. The Junior Structural Engineer shall be responsible for his/her scope of work as given below:

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist Structural Engineer to prepare and review key project documentation in executing the complete scope of structural, naval and hull engineering scope of work as per the project requirements.
• Assist Senior Engineer to prepare and review topside module and hull structure drawings, layouts and specifications.

REQUIREMENTS
