Job Description:

As a full stack software developer in EtaVolt, with more focus on the backend, the candidate will be involved in:

• To participate in the design, development and deployment of solar lifecycle management platforms and related software
• To support project managers on digitalization related tasks when required
• To support data extraction and processing for machine learning and application development
• Create and update documents related to software products
• Development of a web based applications for solar system owners that utilises a machine learning based backend
• Development of other software products that contribute to the solar energy ecosystem
• Study and choose the most suitable cloud services based on business needs, performance and cost considerations

As a GQ (Global Quality) Package Reliability Process Engineer, you will be responsible to setup new product package reliability requirement. This includes board level reliability to emulate customer PCB design. As process engineer, you are required to ensure the process control during package reliability and establish procedures to the operation team for execution. Process improvement is also required to ensure cost and productivity gain.

Coordinating with various supplier and ensuring the AVI recipe creation compliance to Micron specs are also required. Additionally, you will respond to inquiries from internal and external customers as a subject matter expert for package reliability activities.

Responsibilities and Tasks

AVI process development

• To work with AVI supplier for development of image screening recipe with using customer parameters or industry standard.
• Modify AVI recipe and program setting to fulfil customer requirements.
• NPI Readiness to ensure the recipe is available to cater for the new product.
• Collaborate within internal Micron Engineering team to establish AVI recipe for package reliability.
• Collaborate with SMAI team to establish AT ADC program

Evaluate and Improve Processes, Materials, and/or Equipment

• Identify, investigate, and document process deviations.
• Troubleshoot process deviations using systematic troubleshooting techniques.
• Perform risk assessment at all decision points within the qualification cycle
• Develop Process Reliability Methodology and Qualification

Lead development/improvement of Process, Equipment and/or Material

• Establish engineering evaluation (DOE)
• Identify factors that impact process quality and propose solutions
• Identify and evaluate interactions between equipment, processes and resolve potential issues
• Identify and implement equipment process control methods
• Develop process limits and capabilities (CpK) and lead process improvement evaluations

Introduction of New Process and Process Changes to Operation

• Implement new standard to align with changes of industrial standard for reliability process procedure.
• Conduct training/briefing for operation team on operation procedures
• Develop process reliability tests to assess new process failure mechanisms
• Ensure that test methodology follows industry standards, such as the Joint Electron Devices Engineering Council (JEDEC)
• Define process sampling plan and instruction.

Establish documentation and procedure

• To establish document for new process and revise existing procedure whenever applicable.

Roles & Responsibilities:

● Maintain the technical solutions for applications deployment and maintenance

o Maintain and even improve the means so that products are correctly and continuously integrated and deployed in quality assurance and production environments, respecting established rules.

o Support software teams on behavior testing, automated testing, and debugging of applications across various environments.

o Support service team with tools and custom scripts for applications maintenance, in a simple and efficient manner.

● Secure the product operability

o Understand the functional context of the product up to the point of challenging functional decisions.

o Evaluate the system continuously and objectively so that the product with underlying architecture is state of the art.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

● System skillset :

o System Administration basics (services, ssh, OS packages management, etc)

● DevOps tooling advanced skillset :

o Extensive working experience (at least 3 years) with Containerization: Docker and Kubernetes

o Use of ArgoCD and Helm

o Developing and maintaining Ansible Playbooks

o Scripting experience in Shell, Bash, CMD and Powershell

o Using Jira and Gitlab

● Infrastructure as code skillset :

o Automated configuration using Ansible

● Network basics :

o Good working experience with NGINX and HAproxy deployment and configuration

o Familiar with commonly used network commands (e.g. curl, telnet, netstat)

o LAN architecture (CIDR, vLAN, routing, NAT)

o DNS and SSL (internal, external)

o Understand Network ACLs and request firewall access as required

● Security :

o Secrets management using various vaults (Kubernetes secrets, Hashicorp Vault, etc)
