Qualifications

What you should have:

- Bachelor's Degree or above, majoring in Computer Science, or related fields, with 3+ years of experience building scalable systems;

- Proficiency in common big data processing systems like Spark/Flink at the source code level is required, with a preference for experience in customizing or extending these systems;

- A deep understanding of the source code of at least one data lake technology, such as Hudi, Iceberg, or DeltaLake, is highly valuable and should be prominently showcased in your resume, especially if you have practical implementation or customisation experience;

- Knowledge of HDFS principles is expected, and familiarity with columnar storage formats like Parquet/ORC is an additional advantage;

- Prior experience in data warehousing modeling;

- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C++, and Scala is essential, along with strong coding skills and the ability to troubleshoot effectively;

About the Team

The Observability team supports various core business lines within TikTok, as well as external enterprise customers through Volcano Engine. • Strong knowledge of UVM/OVM, Semiformal Verification, assertion-based verification, hardware and software co-verification methodology.

Job Description

• Create and maintain fully automated CI /CD processes at the organization level and be the focal point of contact for DevOps related work items.
• Work closely with the development, operations, QA and other internal users to enable delivery and release pipelines in a hybrid cloud model
• Create & maintain scripts for customizing the tool set, build, deployment, maintenance, and related tasks.
• Gatekeep quality and security across the pipeline including identifying rules, false positives and govern software delivery.
• Generate reports and provide status of builds, releases and deployments and generate the outcome metrics.
• Automate standard service offerings related to the deployment, maintenance, as appropriate.
• Articulate technical and business-related problems and solutions in a concise, effective manner.

Required Skills

• Possess a degree in Information Technology or related fields.
• Strong Linux shell scripting experience is a must. Background in Windows is a plus.
• Solid understanding of source code control systems, branching, merging, releases for both SVN and Git flavours including Bitbucket and AWS codecommit
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Artifactory, Jira, Confluence, Static and dynamic security tools like SonarQube, Appscreener, Burpsuite, Accunetix etc
• Reporting and Logging tools like ELK or Splunk will be a great advantage.
• Experience in automated development & deployment to Cloud infrastructure (AWS & or Azure).
• Experience with Openshift containers deployment will be a major advantage and or any Kubernetes orchestrations.
• Experience with automation/configuration management using Chef, Salt, Puppet, or an equivalent is nice to have.
• Experience with Scripting using Groovy will be an advantage.
• 2-5 years automating system tasks and creation of compute resources using Ansible.
• Deep understanding of Java, Node & Python applications
• Strong Linux sysadmin and shell scripting skills.

Qualification :

• Min Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or IT related.

• 2 years relevant experience

RESPONSIBILITIES

Key responsibilities

• Provide operational and maintenance support for Satellite Broadcast Service.
• Knowledge of Satellite Transmission (i.e. Solid State Power Amplifier (SSPA)/BUC, Satellite modulator, Integrated Receiver Decoders (IRDs) or Satellite Headend (i.e. Video Encoder, Multiplexer)
• Perform equipment/system configurations, Video switching, IP routing and monitoring of Radio Frequency (RF) & Video signals for Broadcast production and operation.
• Perform Satellite uplink and downlink configurations.
• Perform RF equipment/system preventive and corrective maintenance
• Perform Broadcast equipment/system preventive and corrective maintenance
• Perform IP broadcast network configurations and maintenance.
• Resolve technical issues and to provide periodic/planned preventive & corrective maintenance.

• 4 years of experience required in relevant industries.
• Degree in Electronics/Computer Engineering or any related discipline.
• Knowledge in network and video transport technologies.
• Knowledge in audio, video and broadcasting system.
