• Interest about modern technologies and familiarity with industry-wide technology trends and best practices

• Working knowledge of development toolset to design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software ability to work collaboratively in teams and develop meaningful relationships to achieve common goals

• Experience with Public Cloud offering related to compute, storage, networking, messaging, automation (CloudFormation, Terraform, etc.) and data

• Ability to provide occasional weekend support as part of the shift rotation (part of the global team who provide 24x7x365 coverage)

• Position Title: Mechanical Engineer (Japanese-speaking)
• Working Location: Tuas West
• Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 9 am – 5.30 pm (One Saturday per month, 9 am – 12 pm)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform engine repair work, engine testing, engine commissioning or any troubleshooting works for power generation engines (Land & Marine) & Main propulsion engines.
• Conduct other Mechanical repair & troubleshooting works such as MHI Deck crane, Mooring Winches, Kamome Propeller & Thruster, Kawasaki Thruster.
• Provide a service report with necessary recommendations & findings.
• Provide technical support for site engineers and customers whenever necessary.
