• Background in Information Systems (IS), Computer Science or related field

• Proficient in creating and maintaining complex data pipelines using tools such as Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
• Experience in Commercial Cloud such as Amazon web Services (AWS), Google cloud Platform (GCP) and Microsoft Azure.
• Knowledge of data platforms such as Spark, Flink, Kafka, SQL and NoSQL databases, Airflow.
• Knowledge of the latest developments in data engineering and best practices in data management.
• Knowledge of cloud technologies in data platforms is a plus e.g. Snowflake, AWS Redshift, Google BigQuery, Azure Synapse.

Purpose: Strategic planning and develop cost effective & low risk manufacturing/assembly process steps/planning from raw material to completion including special processes through Product Quality Plan(PQP).

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• A well-established ISO Accredited Marine Consultancy & Surveying Company in Singapore requires a self-motivated, intelligent Class 1 Master Mariner and Marine Engineer Class I to join the firm.
• The applicant must be fluent in written & spoken English and have at least 2 years experience as Senior Officer (Chief Officer or Master, or Chief Engineer) on dry-cargo vessels. He or she should preferably have surveying and auditing experience.
• The Company are P&I Correspondents, Consultants to legal firms, Owner’s representatives and Shipping Agents. Clients include Governments, local & overseas law firms, Ship-owners & Charterers.
• Assignments include collision & accident investigations, expert witness attendance, claims handling, pre-purchase & specialized surveys and ship assessment & vetting.
• The applicant will be based in Singapore and must be prepared to travel throughout the Asia-Pacific region.
• On-board training will be provided for the specialized functions of the job.
• Salary is in Singapore Dollars. Singapore taxation is applicable
