• Must have experience working in the banking domain.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in systems development and/or business process improvement initiatives, preferably with project lifecycle experience in the Financial Services Industry, specifically in Consumer Banking Operations and Corporate Banking Operations.
• A hands-on team player who can see the big picture, possesses a can-do attitude, and can handle ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal, coordination, and planning skills.
• Proficient in understanding public web or customer-facing applications.
• Skilled in utilizing tools like JIRA to document requirements effectively.
• Capable of providing guidance to the Tech team regarding new requirements.
• Effective in communicating with stakeholders from diverse backgrounds.
• Capable of regularly updating management on the progress of these initiatives.

Job and Responsibilities :-

Need to assist application team running Treasury & Market Trading System to achieve the team’s goals and objectives. In the course of this engagement, deep immersion into the daily BAU support and development work culture will be required to allow the engineer to fully understand the daily grind which the application team experiences and with that to come out with better improvement in operation.

Requirements :-

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, a related technical field that involves programming, or equivalent practical experience.
• Highly motivated, pro-active and capable of working under pressure without compromising development processes and productivity.
• Strong, committed and reliable team player, able to take direction but also willing to contribute to discussions on design and strategy.
• Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills to be able to deal with and form good relationships with the business and other technology groups through day to day support and project work
• Interest in financial technologies, new technology tools and the ability to learn.
• Ability to debug and optimize code and to automate routine tasks.
• Systematic problem-solving approach coupled with effective communication skills and a sense of ownership and drive.

Mandatory Skills :-

• Experience in one or more of the following: Python/Java.
• Very good analytical and problem-solving skills with good understanding of technical risks emerging out of architecture decisions.
• Experience with developing applications and setting up automations in a Linux environment, with sound knowledge of algorithms, data structures, complexity analysis and software design.
• Development skills with experience in real time, distributed and highly secured environments.
• Experience with developing test cases and ensuring appropriate test coverage through unit and automated testing.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and release strategies

Working Hours :-

• BAU – Monday to Friday, 9AM-6PM
• Sat/Sun – only if there is any release/OS patching/BAU Support for other downstream CR activities
• 24x7 standby on call - only if night batch job failed. BAU duty support is on a 2 weeks cycle on rotation basis with other 4 members
