What You Will Do:

• Equipment owner for PVD (Sputtering or evaporation) tool of Thermal Processing (Furnace or Rapid Thermal Process) tool
• Drive equipment fault investigations and continuous improvement programs to resolve chronic equipment issues, and implement permanent resolutions to assure product quality and enhance process robustness.
• Maintain optimum utilization of equipment and resources, drive MTBF, MTTR and increase equipment throughput.
• Establish equipment maintenance controls, review and perform regular update of PM procedures, Risks Assessments and Troubleshooting guidelines.
• Perform simple modification on PVD (Sputter or Evaporator) or Thermal processing (Furnace or RTP) production equipment to improve machine efficiency and reliability.
• Work with Equipment Supplier for tool retrofit and to resolve equipment issue
• Drive cost reduction to weed out unwarranted expenses/wastages and improve equipment performance.
• Work on projects to establish alternate supplier to reduce cost
• Establish sufficient essential spares and consumables stock levels to support equipment maintenance.
• Lead and guide shift technicians on all equipment maintenance. Provide effective equipment trainings to the technicians to build up their technical competencies.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the manager. Duties will vary according to the project progress and/or the specific goals of the module.

What You Will Bring (REQUIRED Qualifications):

• Candidate must possess at least a Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronics, Material Sciences, Mechanical or equivalent with minimum 5 years’ working experience in wafer fabrication industry.
• Hands-on experience working on PVD (sputter/evaporation) or Thermal Annealing/Diffusion tools is required.
• Candidate with strong vacuum and plasma technical knowledge or has similar working experience in equipment maintenance is welcome to apply.

As the Global Facilities Regional Engineering Electrical Engineer you will be responsible for providing technical support, expertise, and lead business process alignment on construction project design, management, schedule, cost control, testing & commissioning, operational and maintenance programs for the facility Electrical systems at all manufacturing sites in your location / region.

As a global team member residing in your current site/geography, you will represent all facility design standard alignment, construction project management, O&M BKM alignment initiatives. You will also support the Global Facilities Central Engineering Team, Construction Team , Line Planning Team and O&M Team in providing critical design standard alignment, supplier quality improvement, operational and maintenance input and support construction projects.
