We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Data Scientist for our DT&A Platform with a strong background in Supply Chain. We seek for someone who enjoys hands-on data science work while also possess the ambition to lead strategic initiatives. The role bridges data science, product management, and business strategy, playing a key role in shaping the future of our supply chain data ecosystem. A strong initial focus will involve tracking vessels and their cargoes while contribute to the creation of a digital twin of our operations. Main Responsibilities:

• Data Product Development:

1. Design, develop, and manage the lifecycle of high-quality data products

• Algorithm Design:

1. Build advanced algorithms, with a focus on fuzzy matching, destination prediction, indicator modeling, and optimization within digital twins

• Data Management:

1. Collaborate with data engineers to handle complex, multi-format datasets, ensuring accurate analysis and effective data governance

• Team Coordination:

1. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data architects, data engineers, and the product team to align on project goals, technical specifications, and deliverables

• Stakeholder Engagement:

1. Translate business needs into data-driven solutions, ensuring alignment with strategic goals

• Insights Presentation:

1. Synthesize raw data into actionable insights, delivering compelling visualizations and narratives for both technical and non-technical stakeholders on a regular basis

Experiences:

• At least 2-4 years of relevant experiences
• Strong background in AIS data, geographical data, or time series prediction
• Proven experience in designing and implementing quality algorithms for research and data analytics
• Experience in agricultural commodities trading, freight, logistics or similar markets is a strong plus
• Experience with modeling techniques and machine learning algorithms is a plus
• Passionate about staying abreast of the latest trends in AI, data science, and industry innovations

Technical Skills:

Academics:

• Degree or Master’s in Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, Computer Science, Data Science or related field of study

Role and responsibilities:

• Support IT strategy relating to supply chain operations and systems
• Work with other Apps Lead to ensure proper system integrations and data integrity
• Identify and assess the use of Data Analytics, Robotics Process Automation, IoTs and AI
• Work with vendors and business stakeholders to design, build, implement and support Track and Trace Solution
• Conduct user requirements workshops for process discovery, process analysis and documentation of requirement specification to deliver innovative solutions for supply chain and site operations
• Prepare Process Design Document (PDD) and ensure its timely sign-off by stakeholders
• Coordinate with internal and external developers on Solution Design Document (SDD)
• Manage enhancements, system fixes, project risks, mitigation and contingency
• Vendor Management on project and support matters
• Provide training to users and work closely with technical teams (Infrastructure & Security, Applications and EUC to ensure proper system security, performance, data integrity and compliance to established policies

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology or data science or supply chain management (SCM) or a related field
• Min. 5 years of experience in Supply Chain Managment and Logistics industry
• Proficient in the use of data analytics tools

Job Description:

• Develop and foster strong relationship with key account.
• Serve as the key liaison person between client and internal departments on request and issue resolution.
• Take ownership of key account’s new program implementation. Engage in initiative and project discussion. Lead and monitor implementation progress.
• Manage, monitor and control stockholding. Prepare stockholding and indent reports for monthly reviews.
• Support monthly KPI metrics and perform root cause analysis to improve metrics & performance, timely submission of internal and external reporting, as well as, present operational KPI.
• Manage Replenishment and inbound Inventory in line with the forecast or indent, commercial and stock holding requirements.
• Review materials forecast and execute Supply Plan, analyses Key Planning Parameters to achieve a balance between Inventory and Forecast.

What's the role?

We are looking for a creative and motivated professional to join our Supply Chain team. You will be leading all aspects of warehouse operation and vendor management for Singapore and remote regions to provide the highest quality customer service to internal and external clients. Operation activities include warehouse operation/inventory management, vendor management, production management, customer relationship engagement, and process/cost improvement. You will closely collaborate with vendors and stakeholders to streamline supply chain processes and identify improvement opportunities and participate in region-wide transformation initiatives.

We'll trust you to:

• Act as the primary contact for queries related to supply chain operations, evaluate, maintain, and track supply chain KPIs and contribute to continuous process improvement
