Planning and scheduling of project activities

• Manage the project team and resources with the objective of ensuring the timely completion of projects

Job Description

• Oversee all aspects of the company’s accounting function:
  Review financial reports and analyze financial results.
  Establish and uphold accounting practices for accurate and reliable data.
  Maintain documented accounting policies and procedures.
  Review monthly account closings.
• Manage budgeting and financial reporting:
  Lead the preparation of the company budget.
  Consolidate and review monthly financial statements for the group.
  Forecast cash flow and predict borrowing needs and investment opportunities.
• Ensure regulatory compliance:
  Ensure compliance with Singapore FRS and other statutory requirements.
  Review the Annual Report.

Requirements:

• Excellent communication skill.
• Degree in Accounting and/or professional accounting qualification.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable, Goods and Services Tax (GST), and Maritime Engineering System (MES) is a plus.
• Prior experience in the marine or oil and gas sector is highly preferred.

You will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of cutting-edge artificial intelligence and machine learning products from conception to deployment. This role requires a unique blend of proven technical expertise, a deep understanding of AI/ML technologies and their practical applications, and product management skills.

What you will be working on:

• Define, develop and deploy AI/ML solutions to business problems, including translating complex AI/ML concepts and requirements into detailed project plans.

• Apply appropriate machine learning algorithms (supervised or unsupervised learning) and understand trade offs to any data problem.

• Define tools required for a product development and provide advice to organization on suitable development environments/tools to deploy.

• Analyse the engineering trade-offs and choices, and articulate technical decision to the rest of the team to help them understand.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, product owners, and stakeholders, to define product requirements and roadmaps.

• Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field in data science/ML/AI.

• Proven experience in developing products using AI/ML frameworks and tools, including latest GenAI tools.

• Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms, data structures, and software development principles (including frontend and backend).

• Strong project management, analytical and problem-solving skills.

• PMP, Agile, Scrum, or similar certifications are a plus.

• Review of insurance vendor’s quotation on yearly basis.
• Manage and administer staff insurance claims.
• Provide advice, assistance and follow up on all staff insurance claims matters.

HR Administration:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personnel files, attendance, and leave records.
• Prepare HR-related reports and analytics to support decision-making processes.
• Ensure compliance with all legal requirements related to employment and HR practices.

Qualifications:

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in Human Resources Management, Business Studies/Administration/Management, or equivalent
• At least 5 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position
• Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
