Job Description

The incumbent will play a key role in working closely with the School’s stakeholders involved in undergraduate medical education, particularly senior leadership and key administrative partners of healthcare institutions, to ensure that funding for training medical students are accurately disbursed, payment disputes are resolved satisfactorily, and compile data for reporting purposes. The incumbent will also be responsible for the Division budget management, development of SOPs and guidelines, as well as participate in quality improvement projects.

1. Compute PECT funding for Clinical Postings/Teaching Activities and Clinical Exam Contributions for all Healthcare Institutions that are teaching our students.

• Prepare student day database with data from NUSMed Edu Curriculum Team,
• Collate lesson timetables from NUSMed departments on a posting rotation basis,
• Quarterly collation of info on local and overseas electives postings from Electives Team;
• Annual collation of tutors’ contribution to NUS clinical teaching activities (CTA) and clinical exams from various program/exam coordinators

2. Management of and Reporting on PECT Funding with an annual budget of $65m.

• Disbursement of PECT funding, annual accruals;
• Compute and project PECT funding for current year and planning years;
• Coordinate, process and track PECT payments

3. Manage PECT Funding and Providing guidance and communications on PECT matters

• Projection of PECT budget ;
• Plan PECT budget utilization; and collaboration with Dean's Office Finance and the Curriculum teams for efficient PECT funds management in tandem with Edu division strategy and workplan.
• Review Family Med’s budget proposals
• Establish clear communication channels and close working relationship with the various stakeholders e.g. HCIs, MOH, NUSMed departments and other divisions of Dean’s Office for improved efficiency and coordination.

4. Manage Education Division Budget.

Participate in the business process re-engineering project to establish an Education appointment and PECT payment app and dashboard. The app and dashboard is an ongoing joint project within the Dean’s Office Education Division in collaboration with other divisions of the Dean’s Office and partners from HCI Education Offices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management/Administration, Accountancy or related fields

Responsibilities

The Role :

• Deployment Managers are a key cog in the revenue generation engine of LR OneOcean, helping to realise new revenue as quickly as possible. Deployment

• Support with pre-sales activity as required to ensure the sale is optimised for deployment.
• Own each deployment project through all phases of scoping, requirements capture, planning, reporting and successful execution.

• Be the point of contact between LR OneOcean and the end user (ship-based stakeholders) during deployments.

• Support customers with the deployment of upgrades.

Knowledge Management

• Be an active member of the Deployment Knowledge Base, regionally and globally, helping to make the deployment process as efficient as possible.

Other

• Support product development activity, to ensure the product is optimised for deployment.
• Conduct CSAT surveys during listening points in the deployment and post deployment journey, to ensure customer satisfaction levels remain high.
• Support new releases with deployment testing.
• Provide cover for holidays for cluster / non-cluster roles.
• Travel within the APAC and overseas may be required and is considered an occasional feature of this role. Requests could be made at short notice.
• Provide out of hours support / assistance in emergency or time sensitive situations (either in on call or shift pattern).

What you bring

1. Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Maritime Navigation or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent and/or Chartered/Professional qualification and a member of a relevant professional institution.

What you will need to be successful

• Master or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or any other relevant discipline.
• At least 10 years of experience in driving marketing strategy for the Fragrance manufacturing or related MNC industry.
• Proven track record of solid marketing principles knowledge or expertise in B2B or B2C industry.
• Excellent presentation skills, capable in creating compelling communication to drive strategy.
• Passionate about Fragrances and an ability, or interest in learning to recognize olfactive notes, communicate in fragrance language.
• Expertise in optimizing Digital or Social media tools to support business needs.
• Ability to deliver in a fast changing environment with project management and prioritization skills.
• Great team player, ability to influence or motivate others to achieve results.
• Comfortable working in a B2B environment with a positive, self-driven or action-oriented attitude.
• Effective communication skill in English, both verbal and written. Other language proficiency is a plus.

Summary

Apple is looking for a thought leader in Market Research to support research and insight needs in Asia markets especially Southeast Asia and India. This position is responsible for developing research plans, managing local specific projects, working closely with local stakeholders and Research team to deliver insights that unlocks new growth opportunities for the local market and informs decision making. We’re looking for an expert in consumer research and research methodologies, highly capable and agile in analyzing and synthesizing data across different sources, translating data into actionable insights and linking it to business issues. The candidate should also have creative visualization and impactful presentation/communication skill. The key success factor in this role is the ability to design, oversea and utilize research programs to timely capture consumer voice and address unique local business needs. The success of this role will also highly depend on strong collaboration with other research members and local function teams.

Description

• Partner with local teams in SEA and India to identify the key local business issues, create research brief and develop research plan that delivers compelling insights and provides thought leadership.
• Lead, develop and manage primary consumer research execution for data collection and reporting, and conduct advanced analysis when needed.
• Communicate and deliver meaningful research results to key stakeholders and support insights communication for local needs.
• Manage syndicated data sources as well and triangulate data from various sources to deliver broader strategic insight.
• Work closely with other research members in the team to make sure the best synergy, high quality and seamless communication across the projects & deliverables in the Asia region. Support projects for other markets in the region when needed.
• Collaborate with global research team on projects involving SEA and India where local input & participations are required.
• Identify high quality local data sources and local agencies. Bring innovation to research projects including recommendation of relevant approaches that suit local markets best.
• Travel to US, China and other Asia markets is required.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelors degree in market research or human behavior, sociology or statistics related field.

At least 7-8 years of demonstrated success in customer insights / marketing research in a consumer technology / consumer products company or market research firm.

Preferred Qualifications

• Intellectually curious with proven track record in quantitative and qualitative survey analysis.
• Comprehensive experience in market research project and agency management.
• Highly analytical, capable to cut data for different needs and run advanced analysis (regressions, driver analysis, factor analysis and cluster analysis etc.) when needed.
• Extremely strong communication, visualization and articulation skills to deliver meaningful insights to shape business decisions.
• Curiosity and perseverance, a drive for focus and excellence, ability to multi-task and ask questions.
• Dynamic and highly motivated individual who works well in a fast-paced and changing environment and always willing to learn new things.
• Deep expertise with application of a broad range of consumer research techniques and methodologies.
• Ability to efficiently manage and implement quick-turnaround, high volume of projects
• Great understanding of consumer technology industry.
