Role Summary:
As the Product Owner, you will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and the development team. You’ll own the product roadmap, prioritise features, and ensure that our solutions meet both customer needs and business goals. Key Responsibilities:
Product Vision & Strategy:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define the product roadmap and align it with company objectives.
- Maintain a deep understanding of market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform product strategy.
Backlog Management:
- Translate business requirements into clear, actionable user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Prioritise and refine the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical feasibility.
- Make trade-off decisions between scope, budget, and time while managing stakeholder expectations.
Collaboration with Development Teams:
- Work closely with the geographically distributed engineering team to deliver high-quality, scalable features.
- Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to provide clarity and remove roadblocks.
- Ensure delivered features meet acceptance criteria and are released on time.
Stakeholder Communication:
- Act as the primary point of contact for internal teams, including sales, marketing, and customer support.
- Communicate product updates, roadmaps, and release plans to stakeholders.
Customer Focus:
- Engage with customers to gather feedback, understand pain points, and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Prioritise features that enhance customer satisfaction and retention.
Metrics & Performance:
- Define and track key product performance metrics (KPIs) to evaluate success.
- Continuously iterate on the product based on data-driven insights and customer feedback.
Qualifications:
- At least 8 years of software industry experience and minimum of 5 years proven experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar role in a B2B SaaS product environment.
- Strong expertise in product management methodologies and techniques, such as Agile, Lean, User Stories, A/B-testing, design thinking…
- Experience working with geographically distributed cross-functional teams in the APAC region.
- Deep proficiency in data-driven decision making, analytics integration and user research, with a strong understanding of user-centered design principles.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders.
- Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, or similar project management software.
- Knowledge of the data security & compliance market is a strong plus.
- Knowledge in cloud, databases, software security and machine learning / AI would be an asset
- Experience of building a solution from scratch is a strong plus.
- A University degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field.
