The Analyst – International Supply Chain role will focus on implementing a robust and effective supply chain in the Asia Pacific region to unlock growth and profitability. It will work with internal (global and regional cross functional teams) and external stakeholders (franchise partners and suppliers) on procurement/supply chain initiatives as well as day-to-day supply chain planning. This role will apply analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to achieve values that are beneficial to the Wendys system and drive sustainable competitive advantage for the business.

Responsibilities

Franchises Support:

Develop and maintain good partnership with franchise partners. Work with franchise partners to ensure timely ordering and supply to avoid stock outs and expiries. Aid franchise in SCM and procurement related activities like supply planning, inventory management, forecasting and more. Address any quality and supply issues from suppliers/ 3PL. Provide stewardship in supplier relationships with franchises.

Supplier Management:

Build good supplier relationships and ensure stewardship of suppliers. Work with suppliers on timely supply, distribution, quality complaints, service level or any issue resolutions to support Wendy’s business. Measure suppliers through KPIs and support periodic supplier performance reviews to ensure suppliers are aligned with Wendy’s business strategy. Support negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms.

Procurement Management:

Support the supply chain function for Wendy’s restaurants including sourcing, procurement, distribution, warehousing, transportation in operating Asia Pacific markets. Support in developing Category Management Strategies for Core/Key Products. Improve food and paper cost by supporting and/or leading cost savings initiatives to achieve target savings and efficiencies.

Project Management:

Lead and/or support cross functional projects with internal (marketing, operations, finance, QA, innovation, development) and external (suppliers, franchise) stakeholders. Liaise with global and regional team on updates, activities and reports. Be resourceful in obtaining data and details pertaining to supply chain, trade criteria, regulation changes/bans and others.

Data management:

Support building a structured supply chain database for the region. Analyze and track data to monitor supply chain performance. Prepare reports on supply chain metrics and KPIs.

NPD and New Market Opening:

Support implementation of effective supply chain for new products or new marketsRisk Mitigation: Proactively identify potential risks and develop business continuity plans to safeguard operations and maintain continuity of supply.

What we expect from you
Education (majoring in supply chain, business, or related area): Bachelors Degree

At least 3 years of experience in procurement and supply chain (preferably in FMCG or food industry).

Possess strong procurement and supply chain knowledge including but not limited to forecasting, supply planning, inventory management, logistics/distribution/warehousing, good purchasing practices, contract management, negotiation skills.

Added advantage for importation and tariff regulations knowledge. Proficient in Microsoft Office and other program development tools Good interpersonal and communication skills. Solid project management knowledge and team player attitude, ability to work across regions, time zones, and functions. Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

This position is located in Singapore. (Working remotely)

Travel:

• Regular travel is to be expected between 30%.

Technicity:

• Skills improvement on the tools and to be a creative force.

Requirements:

• Degree/Master Degree in Supply Chain Management, Aviation or related discipline in Customer Support/Business functions.
• At least 3-5 years in the Aviation/Aerospace and Customer Support/Supply Chain Management (SCM).
• Experience in air / logistics / supply chain management (SCM).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with professionals of all organizational levels.
• Ability to prioritize and meet critical deadlines.
• Ability to speak French is an added advantage.
• Proficient in excel and knowledge in SAP, sales and airline operations will be an advantage.

Job Summary

This is an entry level manufacturing position. As a Manufacturing Support 1, you will be working in a team to ensure that the manufacturing line are up and running especially for debagging and packaging process.

Role and Responsibilities:

- Handle, cut ,dump and pack bags weighing as much as 25kg into blenders /mixers or bags as many 8MT per shift.

- Handle drums and related equipment.

- Utilize weighing scales and floor scales to properly weigh the required material.

- Document the material / lot number.

- Operate forklift , hand pallet jacks and hand trucks.

- Print and label packaging

- Fabricate boxes / supersack for packaging of finished products.

- Assist in cleaning other areas within the department.

- Complete any other assignment given by the Supervisor.

Job Requirements:

• Possess Forklift License is at advantage but not necessary

• Strong Communication Skills

• Must be able to lift and carry heavy or bulky items

• Ability to perform duties under specific time requirements

• Ability to adapt to changing duties and responsibilities

• Able to work rotating shift, overtime or weekend (if required )as assigned

• Ability to work in a dusty, hot and humid environment

• Ability to bend, stoop, and lean over for a period of time

• Training will be provided

Objectives of the position:

The Harnessing Operator must be a communicative, analytical, and creative team player who can achieve high levels of production.

An individual who is mature and possesses a good attitude with willingness to learn

Key Responsibilities:

1. Cutting and assembly of harnessing cables to meet customer expectations and timeline

2. Handling and operation of simple hand tools and equipment

3. Packing of finished goods (when necessary)

4. Maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of workplace

5. Any other ad hoc production duties assigned by the team leader/manager

Skills & Qualification:

1. No relevant working experience are also welcome to apply

2. Able to understand and perform simple mathematical calculations

3. Able to read ruler measurements

4. Able to identify colours (coloured electrical cables & wires)

5. Good attitude and willingness to learn
