Responsibilities

· Prepare and submit tender & project technical proposal, compliance list and data sheet

· Review technical specifications and drawings to ensure product specifications is met

· Attend site survey and data gathering

· Prepare technical presenation

· Attend project and technical meeting

· Perform pre sale/design of product and system technical evaluation and selection

· Perform testing and commissioning of system

· Analyise, troubleshoot and provide resolution for product & system related issues

· Provide alternative solution for product issues

· Provide product update to internal department

· Provide product training to client and internal department

· Generate and update equipment, hardware and software records

· Prepare incident analysis report

· Coordinate and review with the project team and consultants to ensure the Technical Submissions are in accordance to the specifications and requirements

· Assist in product innovation and improvement tasks

Requirements

· Minimum Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or its equivalent

· Possess basic technical knowledge

· Proficient in Microsoft Office

· Possess basic knowledge of AutoCAD, BIM software

· Good interpersonal skills and pro-active in problem solving

· Good coordination and follow-up skills

· Able to work independently and within tight deadlines

Front Office Level 2 Application Support

POSITION GENERAL DUTIES AND TASKS :
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience

Experience: 1 - 3 years

Proven experience in Level 2 application support within the financial services or trading technology space.
Expertise in front-office trading platforms and financial applications, such as ION, Bloomberg, MarkitWire, Fidessa, Front Arena, CME Brokertec, TradeWeb, and Trading Technologies.
Experience supporting a diverse range of financial products, including IR and CR Derivatives, TRS, Equities, Fixed Income, FX products.
Strong understanding of incident management processes, familiarity with ITSM tools (e.g., GLPI, ServiceNow, Remedy, JIRA) and the ability to resolve complex technical issues under pressure.


Technical Skills:

Advanced troubleshooting and diagnostic skills, particularly within trading platforms, market data feeds, and trade execution systems.
Familiarity with ITSM tools (e.g., GLPI, ServiceNow, JIRA) for managing incidents, requests, and tracking progress.
Proficiency in Unix/Linux and Windows environments, including command-line tools and scripting for basic system administration.
Understanding of networking protocols and data feeds and how they interact with trading platforms.
Experience with SQL and the ability to query databases to investigate data-related issues.

CDAC centres are strategically located island-wide to better serve students, workers and families. We aim to provide its services and programmes to the community near to their homes.

Reporting to the team supervisor, the job scope is as follows:

• Opening and closing of centre

(12.30 pm to 9.30 pm on weekdays and 10 am to 5 pm on weekends)

• Managing the front counter and centre’s hotline

• Performing customer service duties and answering all enquiries

• Assisting clients with registration of programmes and application for assistance schemes

• Performing administrative and clerical duties such as collection of programme fees, data entry, centre maintenance and general housekeeping

• Promoting CDAC programmes and recruiting participants

• Preparing rooms and materials for centre activities

• Following up with attendance for centre activities and calling of absentees

• Preparing incident reports where applicable

• Handling walk-in donations

• Covering duties when necessary

Work Schedule

This position is for a 28-hour work week, including weekends, at CDAC@ Bukit Panjang
