Location: 50% at Jurong Island

Job Knowledge/Skills

• Diploma in Information Technology or Computer science or any computer related subject.
• Good knowledge in PC hardware, LAN and Windows OS
• Resourceful and able to resolve problems independently using online and offline resources
• Good communication and Interpersonal Skills

• Shift duty and weekend support are required when needed

• Weekend support for system upgrade / cutover is about once every 2 months.

Job Description

General Duties:

Classroom/Academic Studies-Related Duties:

· School General Office Counter duties, include attending to the needs of staff and students walking into office and attending to phone calls.

· Assist in typing/printing test/examination papers, work sheets, notes, etc.

· Assist teachers in preparing teaching materials.

· Assist HOD Science in preparing the equipment and resources for Science programmes.

· Assist SH Partnership in distribution of goodie bags, etc.

· Assist teachers in collection of forms and monitoring of attendance for programmes.

· Assist in examination activities, tours and excursions.

· Assist in in-house oral examination as time-keeper/coordinating flow of class movement to examination area.

Others Duties:

· Any other ad-hoc duties assigned by the school.

· Assist in keying/updating data: pupils’ particulars, marks/grades, Physical Fitness Test Results, School-based survey etc.

· Assist Teachers and Office to call students or parents to follow up on issues.

· Do stock-inventory for items.

· Help in canteen/recess/bus bay duties: supervising pupils to ensure safety, providing basic first-aid to pupils who sustain injuries and contacting parents of pupils who are unwell during recesses.

· Assist in the decoration of school premise for festivities, celebrations and special function.

· Assist teachers in maintaining/updating school bulletin/notice boards.

Requirements

· At least 5 GCE 'N' Level Passes including English Language and Mathematics or 3 GCE 'O' Level Passes or equivalent.

· Good communication, inter-personal skills and patience with young children.

· Preferably have administration experience working in schools.

Working hours

· Mondays to Thursdays: 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.* inclusive of 1/2h lunch break

· Fridays: 7.00 a.m. to 3.30 p.m., inclusive of 1/2h lunch break

· Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays.

· *Reporting hours may change to fit the school’s needs.

· Total Hours: 42 Hours per week.
