JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

This position is responsible for providing consultation and professional advice on key technology and information security risk matters relating to the abovementioned geographical responsibilities, thereby adding value to building a strong information security risk culture centred on people, processes and technology. The role will also coordinate regular governance review engagements and being involved in technology-related audit engagements for the abovementioned geographical locations. The role requires professional judgment and assessments on material to be provided by the various process and control owners for the audits.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

Risk Assessments, Audit and Regulatory Management

• Facilitate and drive Technology related audit engagements with statutory auditor and regulator, following up with relevant parties to ensure all issues identified are remediated
• Facilitate and drive annual IT risk and control self-assessment exercises according to MAS regulatory notices/guidelines, internal enterprise IT policies, and standards
• Coordinate independent reviews of the entities’ compliance against various information security and technology risk regulations such as MAS TRM Guidelines, MAS 132 Notice on Cyber Hygiene and MAS 127 Notice on TRM for AIA Singapore, as well as Brunei technology risk regulations for AIA Brunei.
• Support in the divisions’ risk and controls assessment exercises, as well as quarterly internal controls for financial reporting controls assessments
• Support the assurance initiatives under the First Line of Defense to uplift the technology and cyber controls landscape for the Company

Information Security & Technology Risk Metrics

• Support the alignment of various information security and technology risk metrics for management reporting and escalation – this includes reporting/escalation of outstanding or overdue action required from penetration tests, vulnerability assessments, security incidents, policy/standards deviations, third party security assessments, etc.
• Review and assess collated metrics and material for consistency checks and trends

Policy, Standards and Exception Management

• Communicate material changes to internal policies/standards to stakeholders Facilitate risk evaluations and exception handling to deviations from the policies, standards and regulatory requirements

Risk & Compliance Initiatives

• Assist in enterprise-wide risk and compliance coordination for Technology division, where applicable
  

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Bachelor’s Degree in one of the following or related disciplines (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Security, Information Systems)
• 5-10 years of relevant work experience, including at least 3 years of experience in IT audit, risk management, compliance and/or governance roles, with particular expertise and knowledge of governance reporting of technology risk issues and cybersecurity
• Work experience in financial industry, big tech firms or established auditing firms will be considered favorably

Currently, we have an opening for a Commercial Analyst to join our Spot Desk team in Singapore. This person will assist the team in trade activities, data analystics and post sales support.

Main Responsibilities

• Negotiate commercial contracts with clients and be familiar with contractual clauses to mitigate any risks and exposures
• Efficiently administer post sales operations including but not limited to contract signing, vessel nomination and movements, monitoring of LOI, return of OBLs, AR collection and LC matters
• Coordinate sales opportunities and prepare sales offers to clients through our global sales offices including Brazil, Europe and JKT
• Plan and execute sales promptly either through the tender system or online platforms
• Generate data analytics and prepare regular sales reports to enable Spot Desk to strategize decisions effectively and efficiently
• Ensure timely sales recognition for monthly and quarterly accruals
• Collaborate closely with GSP/ IPA on allocations for Strategic Spot Sales and optimize the sales plan to unlock the best value for each cargo
• Constantly look for improvements and/or propose new initiatives to support Spot Desk activities
• Develop and maintain VPS activities

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Data Analytics or other relevant disciplines
• At least 3 - 5 years of industry experience in commercial/analytical/trading function with good understanding of contracts, trade finance and shipping
• Knowledge of the iron ore industry and experience in dealing with trading companies, information providers, sales platforms is highly preferred
• Proficiency in SAP, R, Python, PowerBI, eBL platforms is advantageous
• Strong communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
• Knowledge of Portuguese and/or Mandarin to liaise with overseas counterparts is a plus but not mandatory
• Agile, proactive, meticulous
• Able to work independently and in a team

Data Analyst (SG)

As a Data Analyst supporting our client - a technology company focused on the real estate market, you’ll play a pivotal role in owning goal-setting, strategy, measurement and analysis of their owned social channels, product and business. 

You’ll translate the data into meaningful and actionable insights for the business to develop campaigns, initiatives and business goals.

Role: 

• Own analysis, reporting and relevant dashboards of performance across APAC consumer marketing campaigns. 
• Identify core metrics, drive education of key metric drivers internally, and help set strategic paths towards measurable results
• Set up, maintain and develop social campaign databases across key markets and products to establish relevant baselines.
• Showcase and create learning decks with best-case practices to advance campaign effectiveness and creative excellence internally.
• Identify and build cases for opportunities to “cut through the noise.”  Translate complex analytics to easy-to-understand and engaging recommendations for internal marketing teams and relevant partner agencies working on social and consumer marketing initiatives.
• Lead discussions broadly around social campaign measurement (Paid, Owned, Earned) between client marketing teams and supporting agencies.

You:

• 4+ years of experience in an advertising, digital, or social media agency or in technology companies as a social media analyst, measurement analyst, data analyst or marketing analyst 
• Understanding different marketing measurement methodologies (e.g. creative testing, causal campaign reporting, brand metrics tracking) throughout the marketing/product funnel
• Skilled in data management and visualisation tools (Sheets, Slides, Data Studio).
• SPSS, R, and Python skills would be an added benefit but not a must.
• Capable of visualising data and quickly producing charts and graphs that tell a story to our client team and their internal marketers.
• Relevant skills in working with social listening tools (e.g. Brandwatch) and developing reliable syntaxes are a bonus but not a must-have.
• The ability to turn data into tangible learnings and recommendations that can be applied across marketing activities.
• Proven ability to drive mid/long-term measurement goals, campaign goals, KPIs and targets.
• The ability to be comfortable with ambiguity, asking questions and assuming positive intent in an often fast-paced environment with many stakeholders.
• Exceptional verbal and written English communication and presentation skills and, ideally, fluent in another Asian language to support the projects spanning across APAC.
