What you’ll do:

• Take ownership of rotation projects, understand the requirements of the project and practice time management, project planning and execution skills to complete your project within the timeframe
• Proactively network internally to learn more about the business as well as report back on business initiatives worked on
• Integrate as a team member and communicate with the team on project milestones
• Conduct comprehensive and in-depth company and industry research
• Conduct analysis and manage reporting and tracking
• Create various internal documents, materials, reports and data inventories as required
• Prepare presentations and other materials to support delivery of proposals and pitches to clients/prospective clients to drive new business
• Play an active part in organizing and attending client meetings and events to learn more about client activity, following up on any action points where required

Program Overview

The Global Payments Solutions Analyst Program is an 18 month in-country program designed to provide Analysts with an opportunity to work alongside an experienced GPS team to prepare for a career in GPS. You will work closely with sales teams who cover clients from Corporates and Financial Institutions and product teams who cover payments & receipts, liquidity management, FX, commercial card and trade products. Upon completion of the program, you will be placed into one of these teams on a permanent basis.

For most countries in Asia Pacific, training begins when you will join newly-hired analysts from around the world for an intensive and highly structured few weeks to learn about our global company, its culture and all the relevant tools, techniques and working practices you’ll need to succeed. You'll also receive grounding in your chosen business area, as you develop your professional skills and team-working capabilities in the GPS Analyst Program.

On return to your local office, you will be given responsibilities immediately and will be expected to make a significant contribution to the team.

Stakeholder Relationship Management

a. Acts as a trusted advisor for business for all new business demands requiring technology or operations enablement / solution

b. Prioritize business requests and co-create Business Roadmap with business segments

a. Undertake scoping and evaluation of new initiatives. Defining overall considerations, including scalability, maintainability, cost, operations and technology principal risk to provide a recommendation

b. Collaborate with cross-functional and technical teams including business analysts, solution architect, business technology services teams, and testing teams to define/clarify requirements

c. Work with business technology services team on the smooth delivery of the solution

d. Review Test Scenarios, help plan and support the user acceptance testing and help address any issues. Ensures that there is a business perspective on how the new operations and technical capabilities will be delivered to the business.

e. Spot potential problems, recognize the risk impact and propose risk mitigation strategies.

4. Managing RUN

a. Manage the communication and regular updates to business stakeholders on ‘critical’ production incidents and problems impacting customer and business operations

b. Regular review with business on system stability, responsiveness, production incident, problem tickets including identification of root cause.

c. Track for continuous improvement. Ensure early identification and resolution of challenges impacting BAU systems.

d. Monitoring the fulfilment of service levels between GTO and the business segments and highlighting required actions to close gaps where needed

5. Sustainable Improvements

a. Build a sustainable process for measuring benefits to ensure T&O resources are aligned to business initiatives which provide the highest ROI.

b. Improve systems by studying current practices; designing modifications.

Engineers in the Marquee Market Data team play an integral role on the trading floor and within Marquee. As a Market Data Engineer, you will be building the foundational technologies that source and distribute market data for markets around the world. Operations is a dynamic, multi-faceted division that partners with all parts of the firm to deliver banking, sales and trading and asset management capabilities to clients around the world. In addition, Operations provides essential risk management and control to preserve and enhance the firm’s assets and its reputation.  For every trade agreed, every new product launched or market entered, every transaction completed, it is Operations that develops the processes and controls that makes business flow.

OPERATIONS ANALYST PROGRAM

The Operations Analyst Program has been designed to combine business, technical and professional skills training with a wide-ranging platform of development opportunities to give you a broad portfolio of business management skills.

Starting with both firm-wide and Operations-specific orientations, the program provides a comprehensive schedule of formal training. Alongside this formal training, you will continue to benefit from peer mentoring, networking opportunities and a range of challenging developmental assignments that will take you outside your day-to-day responsibilities.

TEAM OVERVIEW

Analysts joining Operations teams will be on the front-line of the division enabling all of the firm’s businesses. This includes taking an active role in the life-cycle of each deal, trade or transaction – including onboarding the client, assisting in pricing, settling and allocating trades, and post-settlement activities such as collateral management or maintenance of securities and cash. These teams work closely with traders and bankers to service our clients and mitigate risk. Professionals in these functions have diverse academic backgrounds (Liberal Arts, Business, STEM).

New York City area, Salt Lake City, Dallas, Sao Paulo, Beijing, Hong Kong, Seoul, Singapore, Sydney, London, Warsaw, Bengaluru, Tokyo.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Graduating from August 2025 to July 2026* with a Bachelor or Master Degree
• Japanese language skills (spoken and written) required to interact with Japanese speaking colleagues and clients
• No full time work experience (excluding internship experience)
• Interest and passionate in working in financial industry
• Ability to work in a dynamic global environment with a focus on teamwork
• Impeccable attention to detail and excellent problem solving and analytical skills
• Ability to grasp complex issues, interpret information and communicate commercial and operational issues
• Flexibility to adapt to a dynamic and changing organization
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• A proactive approach and a high level of enthusiasm
• Proficient with suite of Microsoft Office software

Position: Senior Finance Analyst

Salary: $6,000 - $8,000 + 14-15 Days AL + Bonus

Qualifications:

•  Degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.
•  At least 3-5 years’ experience as a Financial Analyst or in a similar financial role.
•  Solid understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and financial statement analysis.
•  Proficiency in financial modelling, forecasting, and analysis using spreadsheets and financial software (e.g., Excel, financial databases).

Responsibilties

Budgeting and Forecasting:

•  Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop annual budgets and forecasts.
•  Assist in the prepare on of budget guidelines, assumptions, and templates.
•  Review and analyse budget proposals, identifying risks and opportunities.
•  Monitor budget performance, prepare variance reports, and provide explanations for budget deviations.
• Financial Analysis and Reporting:
•  Gather and analyse financial data to assess the company's financial performance and identify areas of improvement.
•  Prepare financial reports, including budget vs. actuals analysis, variance analysis, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
•  Monitor and track financial metrics, such as profitability, liquidity, and other ratios, and provide recommendations for improvement.
•  Manage Capex process including budget, commitment and actual tracking with variance analysis.
•  Support cashflow management.
• Financial Modelling and Decision Support:
•  Build financial models to support strategic initiatives, investment decisions, and scenario analysis.
•  Evaluate the financial feasibility and potential return on investment (ROI) of new projects or business ventures.
•  Provide financial insights and recommendations to stakeholders based on financial modelling and analysis.
• Financial Systems and Process Improvement:
•  Collaborate with stakeholders to improve financial systems and processes.
•  Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency enhancements.
•  Participate in the implementation and testing of financial systems and tools.
• Other ad hoc duties as assigned
