Reporting to Centre-IC, Medical Technologist (MT) is responsible for the daily operations and administration of laboratory to ensure compliance to regulations and accreditation standards. Associate Medical Laboratory Technologists (AMLT) are responsible for the daily operations of the laboratory which include phlebotomy, electrocardiogram, spirometry and clinical laboratory work.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily operations of the laboratory
• Perform all procedures in accordance with laboratory standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Perform phlebotomy, Electrocardiogram (ECG) and spirometry in an accurate, efficient and professional way.

• Ensure all test results provided for clinicians are accurate and reliable

• Notify medical technologist/lab in charge when instrument malfunction and make arrangements with BME or instrument vendor to service the instrument

Patient Service Associates (PSA) provide frontline counter services to patients. • Responsible for reception of all appointment and walk-in patients at the Diagnostics counters
