Operate as a client facing Business Analyst for delivering process re-engineering consulting, market assessment, operating model creation projects on time within budget and scope. Business Analysts should have a background in business skills, management budgeting and analysis.

Some domain experience is required in shipping, marine industry or fintech / banking. Domain experience in transaction banking (trade finance, supply chain finance, digital assets) will be a good fit.

Responsibilities:

· Conduct thorough analysis of business processes, systems, and requirements to identify opportunities for improvement.

· Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document detailed business requirements, ensuring a clear understanding of project strategies and objectives.

· Improve the reporting process and packs.

· Partner with the Cost COE to drive actionable analytics across all keys areas.

· Support the Head of Operations with all elements of financial planning and analysis.

Requirements:

· Proven experience around 4-6 years as a Business Analyst in a similar role is strongly preferred.

About the role:

• Re-engineer end-to-end processes, analyze, and review operational solutions.
• Conduct requirement gathering workshops, review, and document requirement artifacts.
• Review functional specifications and process-defined documents.
• Coordinate and ensures UAT test plans and test case are executed within UAT schedule.
• Provide post-production support, review production issues, and track them to closure.
• Troubleshoot reported issues and coordinate across teams (stakeholders, developers, infrastructure teams) to resolve them.
• Manage projects and monitor timelines.

Your background:

• Technical knowledge in web services, application development (Java), HTML/Angular-based UI, and role-based access matrix.
• Proficiency in English and Chinese is required, with additional proficiency in Cantonese considered advantageous for interacting with Chinese clients.
