Job Summary:

In this position, you’ll be tasked to assist various stakeholders in the business unit and supporting business activities. Additionally, you will play a vital role in delivering all tasks in an efficient and timely manner while ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures and country legislations.

Responsibilities:

1. Report unit trust investments, redemptions and switching transactions for all funds by their stipulated cut-off times.

2. Follow-up with branches / fund manager on regulatory reporting (CRS/FATCA) whenever applicable

3. Prepare payments to fund houses and report funding

4. Monitor straight through processing on trade settlement, dividends and to follow up with necessary for exceptions

5. Process corporate action events upon receipt of distribution contract notes, notices, etc.

Requirements:

-Qualification or experience in related field.

-Experienced in banking and financial sector preferred.

-Proficient in Microsoft Office.

• Understand AML, Compliance and regulatory controls in each dept and requirements of applicable regulations and policies
• Assist to create quality assurance programs in line with Compliance and AML action plans and internal policies

Requirements :

• Degree or Diploma

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and some experience in dashboard creation

Our client is a large investment bank seeking to add a resource to their ongoing project. The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in Regulatory Reporting business analysis, along with a working knowledge of local regulatory reporting requirements.

This is a regional Business Analyst role offering opportunities to work on regulatory reporting requirements across various locations, including Singapore, Hong Kong, Taipei, Manila, Tokyo, Seoul, and Shanghai. The candidate will be involved in addressing new regulatory reporting requirements, modifying existing reports due to new business/product onboarding, and fixing defects in existing reports as part of the Regulatory Reporting DevOps team. Given the team's support for Finance Change, the candidate will also have the chance to contribute to strategic initiatives

Must Skills

• MAS-related project/regulatory reporting experience
• Very strong in SQL and data query
• Must work on upstream and downstream data quality maintenance and be familiar with file mapping

Scope of role

• Manage the technical requirements and technical design aspects of the project
• Analyse the organizational needs, scope the problem and develop technical use case to address the problem.
• Map and review the business requirements to technical design
• Document requirements, source and evaluate alternatives, and recommend solution that best fits the Authority’s needs
• Work with the users to ensure smooth deployment and adoption of new solution
• Prepare end user documentation (training manual, user manual, business process flows) on the operation or maintenance of technical systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor or higher degree in IT or equivalent
• At least 7-10 years of relevant experience in application production support on .NET applications in both Unix and Windows operating environments;
• At least 5 years of experience in secure coding (WAF, VAPT)
• At least 3-4 years of experience manging a team and leading a project
• Knowledge in Agile Methodology, Cloud Technologies and Container Technologies
• Understand SDLC and experience working with business users, various IT teams and vendors;
• Familiarity with databases (e.g. Oracle, Microsoft SQL) and application servers (e.g. IIS, WebSphere Application Server);
• Positive attitude and able to work under pressure;
• Excellent technical skills (e.g. system design/development and cybersecurity);
• Good knowledge of the Government Instruction Manuals with regard to ICT
• Self-driven, creative and team-oriented person with good interpersonal skills;
