Position Overview:

The Software Engineer is a specialist within EOS Defence Systems (EOS DS) and is responsible for applying routine systematic approaches in a team-based environment to solve problems using disciplined engineering techniques (e.g. software, mechanical, electronics, system, testing etc). The role is also responsible for applying knowledge to the development of products and designs that support the product development and product goals of EOS DS.

Software Engineers exercise engineering technical knowledge within or across specialist disciplines and the ability to work under general direction to apply strategic alignment. Adherence to governance and standards and interacting with people in cross functional teams to achieve business outcomes with the appropriate levels of integrity, safety, and ethics of these designs is critical to the role.

Specific Functions & Tasks

· Apply software designs for new and existing products that satisfy defined requirements within specified time frames.

· Work with mechanical design and System Engineers to ensure that the design produced satisfy the defined requirements.

· Apply software engineering practices including carrying out developer testing, documenting code, participating in code reviews etc.

· Work with other engineering disciplines to ensure cohesive and complete system designs.

· Prepare and maintain design documentation including requirements, software architecture, detailed design, configuration records, test plans and test reports to support designs.

· Work with Project Engineers to ensure design solutions are delivered on time and on budget and meet other project management requirements.

Document the design, safety requirements, and system specifications and prepare for senior review and quality assurance.

· Support integration activities with customers and partners.

· Design the routine elements that are required for baselining, modification, enhancement of engineering solutions.

· Apply a systematic approach to configure the system to be built and provide input and assurance of the Engineering and Production Bill of Materials (BOM) to the appropriate standard of system and technical readiness.

Fujifilm Business Innovation Asia Pacific is seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Senior Systems Analyst (Business Intelligence) to provide support to FUJIFILM Asia Pacific (FFAP), FUJIFILM Business Innovation Asia Pacific (FBAP), and all operating companies in the Asia Pacific region on applications relating to Business Intelligence (BI) for management & operational reporting and integration layer with source data systems. In this role, you will participate in implementation-enhancement projects to plan, coordinate, and liaise with users on system requirements gathering, solutions, design, and documentation.

RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS:

As a Senior Systems Analyst, your responsibilities will include:

Key Accountabilities:

• Design BI Architecture in Azure Cloud and migrate on-premise BI systems to Azure
• Lead in user requirements gathering and perform system impact analysis of changes required by business from a technical perspective
• Drive user discussions and conduct workshops to facilitate information-gathering
• Perform a feasibility study to ascertain the area of automation
• Propose and review solutions with respective stakeholders affected by the change
• Document user requirements into user specifications (functional and technical)
• Lead in system design and development of solutions according to the agreed user specifications
• Develop test plans and scripts
• Conduct testing on developed solutions to ensure compliance with user specifications and internal quality assurance requirements (e.g. system performance benchmarks)
• Lead in user training and user acceptance testing
• Ensure proper deployment of changes to the production environment in accordance with internal procedures
• Collaborate and initiate change with business users to provide improvements to standardize system processes and propose business solutions meeting business needs/requirements. This involves a good collaborative effort with staff members from cross-functional areas (e.g. sections, departments, and entities from the Asia Pacific region)
• Review all work deliverables from development resources assigned and provide guidance to development accordingly. Resources can be internal or extended vendor resources on technical delivery
• Provide periodic reports to the reporting manager on work status/project progress
• Accountabilities are applicable to daily support, change order sustenance, and project work
• Ensure full compliance with company policies, internal procedures, information security, and JSOX audit requirements for all work performed
• Other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Daily Support:

• Dedicate about 30% of your time to daily support activities
• Provide 24x7 systems support according to the business units’ SLA of the Asia Pacific region on in-house developed business applications
• Handle issues resolution in accordance with SLA
• Report any system or operational deficiencies and recommend areas for improvements

System Sustenance Change Orders:

• Dedicate about 30% of the time to change request fulfillment activities
• Manage full change order fulfillment for the designated systems (independently end to end from feasibility study to final delivery)
• Manage development resources allocated as per change order requirements (usually of medium complexity)

Projects:

• Dedicate about 40% of your time in project work
• Contribute as a key project member/team lead/technical subject matter expert in new implementation/enhancement projects for small, medium to high complexity projects.
• Collaborate with other ICT team members, application SME's, and other vendors as and when required by the project and ensure delivery of projects in accordance with project KPIs
• Project activities include but are not limited to requirements gathering, design, testing, training, documentation, deployment, coordination, quality assurance, etc.
• Review all project outputs in relation to IT system deliverables from project development resources

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:

To succeed in this role, you should possess the following qualifications, skills, and experiences:

• At least 7 years of Information Management experience in an MNC within the High Tech industry, with 5 years in an IT lead role in project/support environment
• At least 5 years of implementation and support experience in Data warehousing and BI tools
• Degree in Computer Science / Engineering or IT-related fields
• Preferably certified in Data engineering and/or Data analysis
• Preferably Project Management certified (PMP) or Agile Certified
• Excellent hands-on experience in Power BI, Cognos BI, Azure data lake, Azure Synapse, Azure/Oracle Datawarehouse, and ETL tools
• Proficiency in Power BI and Cognos BI Administration, Security, and Framework Manager Dimensional Modelling
• Experience in DAX, M query, SQL, stored procedures, database/data processing concepts, data modeling, reports, and dashboard development
• Good knowledge and in-depth experience in designing data warehouse systems and data flow in source systems such as Oracle eBusiness Suite or Azure D365
• In-depth knowledge and experience in designing and developing a flexible & and scalable BI model that can cater to business reporting needs
• Familiar with IT SDLC and agile methodologies.
• Familiar with business analytics and reporting in areas of Finance, Supply chain, Sales and distribution, Service CRM
• Good knowledge of application deployment and solutions

Position

This a very hands-on technical role to drive continuous improvement initiatives on top of day-to-day BAU support. We want someone with fresh and relevant ideas who is passionate about learning new things and wants to develop themselves further.

As we are covering the bank’s global operations, you will work in rotational shifts** and also be occasionally doing on-call support*** during non-business hours. This will be an opportunity to have a better perspective of what can be further improved in production!

**On call support: This covers 7 consecutive days during non-business hours to manage escalated incidents and to work on planned changes, weekend included.

***Rotational shifts: Members in the team will rotate accordingly around 3 shifts (time will shift to an hour later during the daylight saving time period in the year).

Under guidance, to prepare the fundamental engineering deliverables of Process Safety for
the assigned project as per the specified technical requirements, timelines and budget, and to
identify basic engineering issues and resolve them.

Core Responsibilities

• Identifies the scope and prepares the scope of work document covering the purpose, criteria and scope of HAZID, HAZOP, FRA, ERA, and QRA, exhaust gas and vent dispersion analysis, dropped object analysis, ship collision analysis, F&G detector mapping study, Evacuation, Temporary Refuge Rescue Analysis (ETRERA), predictive noise study, Structural fire risk analysis, Emergency Systems Survivability Analysis (ESSA), Human Factors Analysis, SIL assessment, and ALARP Evaluation.
• Performs review of arrangement of active fire protection (including coverage), escape route, life saving appliances, fire and gas detectors locations (coverage), PAGA Layout, hazardous area classification and schedule, General Arrangement, exhaust and vents location, Process PFD, P&ID, Marine P&ID, HVAC D&IDs, ESD Philosophy/hierarchy, F&G and ESD C&E, PFP Philosophy/spec/drawings, firewater hydraulic analysis (ring main, deluge, cargo deck foam) and surge analysis, and safety layout.
• Develops Bow‐Ties and prepare Performance Standards for all SCEs identified for the project

• Performs/reviews in‐house calculation such as fire water and foam demand and cargo vent dispersion using PHAST software.

• Minimum 7 years of relevant working experience in Process Safety engineering in oil and gas sector for graduates or at least 12 years of relevant working experience for diploma holders.

Primary Objectives of Position
