Requirement

Civil site engineer

Responsibilities

- Reporting to Civil Manager

- Responsible for the civil construction of the power plant station

- Plan and prepare station requirements (Subcon, suppliers, materials, equipment) based on the baseline program and work with the technical/contracts department to finalize and submit for approval

- Achieve progress through programs and within budget

- Control the usage and minimize wastages of major building materials such as rebar, concrete, and formwork materials, amongst other materials

- Carry out daily team meetings and site walks with project staff and produce tasks and action plan notes

- Must possess min 5 years of engineering experience with Degree in Civil Engineering recognized by the PE Board or qualification acceptable to the Commissioner of Building Control as eligible for application as a Resident Engineer OR recognized degree in the relevant field subject to the acceptance of the Engineer and at least 3 years of experience in managing civil and infrastructure construction work for projects of similar scale in Singapore, complexity and nature of work

- Must possess all the training certificates required on a civil supervisor

A structural formwork designer in the construction industry plays a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient design of temporary structures required for concrete placement. This role requires a strong foundation in structural engineering principles, proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Tekla), and practical knowledge of construction methods and materials. Effective communication and problem-solving skills are also essential to succeed as a structural formwork designer.

1. Design formwork systems (aluminium formwork and system formwork) to support concrete structures (slabs, beams, columns, walls, etc.) during construction.

Job Description

• Supervise and coordinate site installation works with in-house supervisor and foremen to ensure the project schedule is met
