Should there be problem meeting the deadlines, She/he should inform the laboratory supervisor who will further relay the delay information to the respective affected departments (i.e. Sales, Customer Service, Inventory, Distribution/Logistics).
• If there is any product analysis failure, the job holder shall communicate with the supervisor in determining proper corrective action to be taken. Approval is required from supervisor to reclassify product to a lower grade and to ensure the newly downgraded material is properly captured in the system.
• Participate, assist, and/or lead customer complaint resolution. Investigate customer complaints and non-conformance issues. Collect and compile statistical quality data. Analyze data to identify areas for improvement in the quality system. As part of the investigation identify root cause(s), propose corrective action and preventative actions.
