Required Experience and Qualifications:

Purpose of the Job:

• Conduct engine disassembly from modular level to piece part level, inspect and clean engine piece parts and hardwares, re-assemble engine for testing.

About you

You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and inspecting elevators and escalators. You will also ensure the safe and efficient operation of these systems, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, and perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent breakdowns. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, as well as a commitment to safety and precision in their work. This position reports to the Service Engineer for Singapore.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for carry out servicing of elevators, escalators and mechanical-parking systems that includes checking, oiling, greasing, mechanical adjustment, trouble-shooting, testing of safety devices, inspection and parts recommendation and replacement, in accordance to code of practice.
• Demonstrate understanding of Environmental, Health and Safety (EH&S) procedures and comply accordingly on the job.
• Attend to breakdown maintenance calls at various job sites.
• Support Service Operations Team to achieve department objectives on service sales targets and service quality standards.

Your Requirements:

• Diploma, Higher Nitec or Nitec level.
• Relevant work experiences on service and maintenance of elevators and escalators will be an advantage but not a must.
• Team player and willing to learn on the job.
• Candidates who possess a valid Class 3 or 3A driving license will be advantageous.

Job Responsibilities

• Ensure specified procedures and guidelines are followed for the completion of all sample registration work. This includes unpacking, submission checking, temperature verification, correct storage and preparation of samples for despatch to the various departments within the laboratory or outsourced entities.
• Ensure recognised SOP’s and operational procedures are adhered to and quality control procedures are in place and documented for new or modified procedures along with identifying and reporting any quality issues and ensure corrective or preventative actions are carried out and completed to the root cause of the issue.
• Ensure that the return of chilly bins meets customer requirements.
• Ensure that the document filing/archiving system is maintained and files are archived on a regular basis.
• Maintain a clean and tidy work area and storage areas within the laboratory designated areas.
• Ensure that the Team Leader Customer is aware of any issues regarding customers’ samples or test requirements or task procedures.
• Reporting all customer complaints and concerns to the Team Leader Customer immediately and help resolve as directed.
• Ensure that all laboratory and regulatory quality assurance procedures are adhered to.
• Implement corrective and preventative actions in relation to quality assurance.
• Actively participate in all audits, internal and external.
• Participate and contribute to health and safety continuous improvement initiatives. Report all incidents, including near misses, whether or not these incidents involve actual consequences, ensure safe work practices are followed, and proactively promote safe behaviour and injury prevention. Participate in training and working safely including the proper use of safety equipment. Ensure safety at work is top priority.
• To uphold the integrity and professional reputation of both themselves and that of the laboratory and exercise professional judgement and seek advice from senior staff with difficult issues.
• Report all customer complaints or concerns to the Team Leader, Operations Manager or Quality Manager and take appropriate action.

Job Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in Science disciplines or equivalent
• 2 years of relevant working experience in commerical laboratories.
• Proficient in MS Office& Excel
• Good organization and communication skills
• Fresh graduate may apply

Technician (Maintenance)

Involved in maintenance of SCADA system, Integrated Security System and Power Systems including system design and coordination work

Responsibilities:

· Carry out daily Preventive Maintenance and Corrective Maintenance of Lift Monitoring Devices (LMDs)

· Run tests and interpret results to ensure equipment is operating functionally

· Assist Engineer in-charge to supervise site works

· Communicate with customers and various stakeholders of the project

· Supervise subcontractors for site work

Prerequisites:

· ITE/Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or relevant

· 2 years relevant working experience with Lift Systems, Electrical

· Strong execution and troubleshooting skills at remote site work

· Assist Engineer in charge to supervise site works

· Good knowledge in computer, network, communication protocol or electrical system

· Willing to work under pressure of tight deadlines when required

· Willing to do standby duty and overtime

· Process class 3 license and own vehicle will be an advantage
