Primary Objectives of Position

• Carry out scheduled Preventive and Corrective Maintenance on Electric Trains/Engineering Vehicles/Equipment/Component assigned by supervisor.
• Execute and comply all PM & CM works and related tasks with the approved quality procedures and work instructions.
• Execute and comply all tasks with the approved safety and operational procedures.
• Attend the necessary training and courses to be able to carry out the maintenance tasks.
• Responsible for the upkeep of the working environment

Major Responsibilities

• Able to participate and complete the training and courses provided by SBST Rail and achieve the necessary qualification to perform maintenance work.
• Be sufficiently competent to carry out preventive and corrective maintenance tasks as assigned by supervisors.
• Able to complete the preventive and corrective maintenance tasks within the established standard times, and in accordance to the work instructions and related procedures.
• Exercise safety always, in accordance to established safety procedures. Responsible for the safety of self and all co-works, inclusive of contractors.
• Perform supporting maintenance activities such as Train Driver/Shunter, overhead crane operator, forklift driver, etc. as authorized and required by the supervisor.
• Perform housekeeping and cleaning tasks at the workplace to ensure workplace order and hygiene.
• Able to work on a shift roster system in accordance with the MOM guidelines and the Collective Agreement.
• Undertake any other tasks or functions that are incidental or ancillary to the performance of the works assigned.

• Ensure trains are only cleared for service when they meet the minimum condition standard.
• Ensure repairs to trains are carried out effectively by competent staff and are thoroughly tested before being cleared for service.

• Undertake monthly inspection of the Examination Building and Sidings Areas and highlights hazards and problems, solving them where possible and reporting the remainder.

• Responsible to deploy and Maintaining Server (Windows or Linux) deployed in Cloud Infrastructure
• Ensure that all OS, software and cloud services are up to date to support the cloud infrastructure
• Provide support related to customer issue with the Cloud Infrastructure.
• Work closely with IT security to monitor privacy and develop incident-response procedures

Requirements

• At least 2 years of hands-on experience in Microsoft Server Administration or Red Hat Linux Administration
• Have at least one server certification (with the same level or higher) E.g. :Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA);
  Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA)
