Responsibilities

• Maintaining a safe and conducive work environment
• Attending a series of in-house Classroom Trainings and On Job Trainings
• Supervising, sustaining and improving equipment performance
• Scheduling and performing maintenance on assigned tool sets
• Working on Continuous Improvement Projects (CIP) and Total Preventive Maintenance (TPM) to improve Equipment Uptime
• Developing hardware solutions to reduce Equipment Cost of Ownership
• Analyzing and addressing equipment issues using mechanical/electric skills and software applications
• Creating and optimizing equipment maintenance procedures
• Adopting IoT, RPA, Data Analytical for work efficiency improvement
• Resolving problems using a series of experimental techniques and thinking out of the box

Requirements

• NITEC/Diploma in Mechatronic, Electrical, Mechanical, Electronic Engineerig etc.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Basic Python Programming

Engineering Technician Job Description :

• Assisting engineering teams in setting up the test equipment for engineering and production.
• Manage all Test & Backend Equipment sustaining i.e. Bench, ATE, Handlers, Thermostream, ICOS, Laser Mark, etc.
• Perform Test program correlations and reject verifications.
• Prepare Test hardware for remote testing, ability to load and do sanity check on test program.
• Carry out characterization or sample screening based on internal team request.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Electronic / Electrical /Mechatronic/IT/ Biochemical/Mechanical/computer/Architecture Engineering / Higher Nitec/Nitec in Electronics/Electrical / Mechatronic/IT/Biochemical/Mechanical/computer/Architecture

Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Prepare generating unit activities to come on stream in accordance with real time dispatch schedule.
• Respond appropriately to system defects, and rectify problems as required.
• Carry out all Plant operating activities, including isolation, in line with operational guidelines.
• Carry out all routine Plant tests and periodic auxiliary equipment changeover in accordance with approved procedures and schedules.
• Schedule, act and document authorities for maintenance work as required.
• Identify and report defective plant and equipment.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date and timely records of all key operational activities.
• Closely monitoring the operational parameters in the DCS, carryout routine checklist, routine test and suggestion for improvements.
• Take up the role of Authorized Person (AP) as per the PTW procedure.
• Successful candidate can be appointed as part of the Company Emergency Response Team (CERT) (training will be provided)

Major Challenges

• Start-up/Shut down Gas turbine and steam turbine as per start-up/shut down schedule.
• Act in emergency to avoid undue trips to process steam export and meet the load schedule without any non-conformance.
• Investigate plant abnormalities, and take corrective course of action during shift (plant trips, unit de-ration, occurrence of fire etc.)

Key Decisions & Dimensions

• Carry out first-level maintenance as required.
• Carry out routine GT fuel changeover and equipment changeover without affecting the plant operation.
• Assist shift engineer in analyzing the problem encountered and find solution/procedure/practices to avoid the repetition.
• Monitor performance and maintain optimum unit efficient during operations.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum NITEC with relevant technical qualification
• Preferably two years of relevant experience
