REQUIREMENTS

• Recognised Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Structural Engineering, as a minimum.
• 1-7 years of design experience in a consulting Environment.
• Must have experience in HDB.
• Must have design experience in high rise residential, commercial or mixed development projects.
• Fully familiar and hands-on knowledge of the latest design software.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Must be fully familiar with European code
• Hands-on experience with the analysis and design of large building projects in structural steel, R.C. and post tensioned concrete

Responsibilities:

a. Provide day-to-day support of IT computing devices and troubleshooting via emails, phone calls, and walk-ins

b. Perform first level support to troubleshoot and solve technical issues

c. Perform L2 and L3 escalations if necessary and required

d. Ensure and follow help desk procedures for all call and ticketing tracking from start to end (initial support to resolution)

e. Take ownership of all problems reported to the help desk. For outstanding issues pending user response, report and alert the IT Manager / POC for internal escalation procedure

f. Interface with other maintenance vendors (vendor management) for problem reporting and resolution

g. Perform IT project rollout as planned by the Customer, including new PC purchase. receiving, move and change (IMAC Services)

h. To be responsible for accurate record keeping, tracking and processing of all documents related to IT

Job Description:

• Train and deploy Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, On-Prem or On-Cloud for customers.
• Conduct business requirements study with customer’s project team.
• Collaborate with in-house technical consultants to design add-on solutions to fulfil customers business and operation requirements.
• Conduct customer training to enable users’ skill in navigating and using the systems effectively.

• AFON will provide training whenever new features and technology are available for Dynamics 365 Business Central.

• Provide 2nd level support and work with other teams for problem resolution
• Liaise and work with vendors and subcontractors verifying deliverables and do follow-ups with issues
• Supports periodic audit exercises and follows up with the remediation actions to close all audit findings
• Ensuring defined IT compliance processes and policies (Operations, Communications, Services and Security) are met.
• Maintaining up-to-date documentation, configuration, Operating Procedures and reports
• Constantly looking for improvement/enhancement initiatives on the quality of IT operations and maintenance.

The Candidate:

• Degree or Diploma in Computer Engineering or related
• At least 5 years of relevant working experience in the capacity of System Engineer ideally in a medium-large size organization
• In-depth knowledge of networking protocols and technologies including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPN, MPLS, BGP, OSPF, Wireless, etc
• Hands-on experience with network equipment from vendors such as Cisco, Fortinet, Checkpoint, Aruba, Ruckus, etc.
• Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices.
• Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent are a plus.
• Sound knowledge and hands-on experience in at least three of the following areas: Windows, Network (Wireless, LAN & WAN), Firewall – Fortigate/Checkpoint, VMware, AWS, O365, AD, OKTA, as well as SolarWinds
• Experience in cyber security hygiene and processes
• Experience in Project Management, ITIL and service desks preferred
• Good communicator with strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a team environment to engage and motivate team members
• Ability to multi-task, possess good communication skills, a service-oriented mindset and has an approachable personality
• Positive attitude and able to work well with culturally and geographically diverse teams
• Working experience in IT Service / System Integrator, multi-cloud environment and experience in project management and database would be added advantage

The Opportunity

The incumbent shall act as first level support and resolution to all reported issues, incidents and queries related to IT (hardware, software and company's application) and participate in all infrastructure improvement activities. Daily tasks will include managing the helpdesk service requests, incidents, hardware maintenance and end user support. This shall also include supporting of collaboration communication, systems and telecommunications system. Essential duties and responsibilities include the following IT Support and Services:

• Provide first level end user support and resolution, for telephone/email enquiries and issues/incidents related to Hardware, Applications and in-house software (troubleshooting, VPN, wireless, etc)
• Logging of all IT service desk calls and service requests; these include documentation of all user issues/requests/resolution into ticketing system
• Working closely with IT System Engineering team to ensure compliance to operational requirement, security processes and provide IT technical assistance wherever necessary
• Working closely with IT Software team to ensure escalated tickets are attended to and closed. Provide software IT technical assistance wherever necessary
• Participate in IT projects when required; not restricting to Infrastructure activities only

Requirements

• Diploma in Computer Engineering or related
• At least 2-3 years of onsite desktop support experience in hardware diagnosis and troubleshooting in a medium-large size organization
• Hands-on experience in supporting PC/notebook hardware, network printer, MS Windows and standard software (MS office, Antivirus, internet browser) and Outlook client, desktop setup, wireless setup, Active directory, VPN setup/troubleshooting
• Basic knowledge of System Server Administration
• Good communicator with strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a team environment to engage and motivate team members
• Positive attitude, able to work well with culturally and geographically diverse teams
