· To supervise the execution of the construction works and ensure that the works are carried out in accordance with contract specification/bills of quantities, construction drawings, company’s quality standards, Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) practices and all other contract documents.

· To coordinate and liaise with Client’s representatives, relevant Authorities, Consultant, Subcontractors, Suppliers, etc. on all project aspects and need be, to provide all technical and non-technical resolutions followed by documentation.

· To liaise with client or consultant for site inspections, submission of necessary technical reports and ensure necessary records are maintained at site.

· To attend regular meetings with Client’s Representative, Consultants and/or Contractors and ensure the progress is on schedule.

· To establish proper and effective document control system, maintain & conduct reviews of detail design drawings, project documents and specifications.

· Under the Workplace Safety & Health Act, employees have a duty to keep their workplace and colleagues safe by following safety and health procedures; reporting unsafe acts and incidents; and not tampering with safety devices or performing wilful/reckless acts.

· Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.

Requirements and skills:

· Diploma in Engineering (Civil, M&E or equivalent) or Degree recognised by Singapore Professional Engineers Board (PEB) in Engineering (Civil, M&E or equivalent) or equivalent.

· Strong knowledge in A&A, M&E, Architectural works

· Fresh grads are welcome to apply.

· Excellent knowledge of design and visualisations software such as AutoCAD or equivalent.

· Advanced MS Office skills

· Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices, safety and performance standards

A Site Engineer will manage part of a construction project, they also help with technical advice and supervise other members of staff. The work can be varied as projects can range from working on a large-scale housing estate to building a new shopping complex. Site engineers should understand the different needs projects have.

Qualifications & experience

• Min Diploma in Engineering related field.
• Knowledge of AV & VC equipment will be an advantage.

• Good knowledge MS Office.

• Ensure that the construction works are done according to drawings and within specified requirements.
• Check thoroughly drawings and instructions received and also highlight their discrepancies and work changes to the Project Manager.
• Prepares and submits method statements and alternative proposals as and when required.
• Liaise closely with the client’s representative and other work changes.
• Prepares site records of variation work and other work changes
• Liaise with sub-contractors/suppliers of different trades pertaining to sub-contract activities to be executed on-site
• Report any problems, discrepancies or changes that affect the quality of the works.
• Assist to enforce the Quality Management System on-site, including safety management.
• Assist to ensure that all construction activities comply with the Authority.
• Collate information from Supervisor/Foremen of the different trades to compile and prepare the Site Daily Report including the progress report.
• Assist the Quality Surveyor in preparing the monthly progress claims, VO claims and verifies suppliers and sub-contractors claims.
• Candidates with sound knowledge of Plumbing & Sanitary.
• More than 6 years experience in Singapore
