Requirements

• Experienced in designing and implementing Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions

• 3+ years of experience in building large scalable infrastructure and platform with IAC and GitOps

• Familiar with cloud services such as AWS and Azure.

• Familiar with Zero Trust Network solutions such as Azure AD Conditional Access and Cloudflare Access.

• Familiar with Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions such as Intune.

• Familiar with Networking concepts such as DNS resolution, VPN software and tunnelling proxies.

• Familiar with supporting MDM and VPN issues on the Windows and MacOS operating system

• Experience in large-scaled distributed environments and their challenges.

• Hands-on experience with Terraform, Gitlab/Atlassian and how to secure the deployment pipelines

• Experience with IAC deployments and it’s best practices.

• Familiar with IAC security and opensource tools in relevant domains.

• Good to have knowledge and experience on GitOps

• Good to have knowledge on Node.js, Python or other scripting languages.

• Good to have practiced Site Reliability Engineering principle.

Job Description

• To assist Engineering Manager to ensure smooth running of daily engineering operations.
• To be competent to set up, configure, operate and maintain a wide variety of electronic equipment involved in outside broadcasting production, including, but not limited to HD Video, UHD Video, Audio and Communication Equipment.
• To be competent in the use of Radio Frequency Equipment and antenna systems
• To be able to troubleshoot broadcasting equipment to a system level and able to communicate and report to the office and manufacturer for problem solving.
• To undertake project work from site surveys to delivering in a professional and timely manner.
• To assist in keeping equipment updated with the manufacturers latest software releases.
• To be responsible for maintaining technical equipment and systems to the required safety and technical standards with minimum disruption to operational activities.
• To be willing to learn and practice the new technologies used by NEP Singapore that have not been experienced or worked with before.
• To be able to direct, instruct and manage assistant engineers and possible system integrators on projects.
• To work safely at all times, complying with statutory safety requirements from NEP Singapore Health and Safety Policies.
• To be able to draft technical reports of field work.
• To be competent in reading and designing of the engineering workflow.
• Prepare technical documents for the preparation of projects and amend as necessary throughout the life of the project
• Attend technical meetings for the projects when is necessary.
• To be flexible with work time and travel.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience of working in broadcast television. Preferably with direct experience of working in an Outside Broadcast environment.
• Familiar with the operation and programming of Routers, Switchers, Tally Systems, Multiviewers, etc
• Familiar with the setup and integration of cameras, lenses, ccu’s etc.
• Experience with EVS equipment including LSM, X-File, X-Hub, IP Director
• Relevant engineering qualifications or a proven track record
• An understanding of radio, television, and the associated transmission and carrier systems.
• Understanding of computers, servers, IT systems and networks.
• A keen interest in broadcast technology, its development and application in the region.
• Knowledge of Cisco Switches and IP technology an advantage.

Knowledge and Skills

∙Tertiary Education in relevant fields is preferred.

∙Hands on experience in setting up and maintaining CI/CD platform, such as Azure DevOps,

Git/Github or other related CI/CD tools.

∙Hands on experience in writing automation scripts for automated deployment for ETL

packages, database tables, and analytics programs using R and Python.

∙Hands on experience in design, implementation, administration and support of data platforms such as SQL and Aurora Postgres database.

Related certifications will be an advantage.

∙Hands on experience in setting up and maintaining a data warehouse/lake solution on the cloud and in a data centre.

∙Hands on experience in supporting Microsoft technologies, preferably for Business Intelligence and data management using tools such as Microsoft SQL SSIS, Power BI, R, SharePoint.

∙Experience in one or more of the following:

a)Building CI/CD pipeline using Azure DevOps, Bamboo, Bitbucket, Sonarqube, Fortify and Nexus

b)Building data pipelines using Python, AWS Glue, AWS Lambda, SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)

c)Unix scripts for secure file transfers

d)Data security

e)Secure code review, Automated Testing

f)Big Data platform, AWS S3

g)Maintaining visualisation tools such as Power BI or Tableau, and Machine Learning applications

h)Server Virtualisation (VMWare VSphere family of products) and container technology
