Description of Key Job Duties:

• To assist in full range of tax services in compliance with laws and regulations within the APAC region.
• To support and provide innovative tax strategies for the countries where the company operates and to assist in the reviewing of complex income tax returns.
• To assist in identifying and mitigating potential tax risks.
• Assist in managing tax provision and tax compliance process.
• Proactively manage the relationships with local authorities and agencies, including local tax incentives.
• Liaison with Group Transfer Pricing team to ensure local requirements and obligations are fully met.

Skills Requirement:

• Degree holder in an accounting or business discipline. Professional tax qualification is highly preferred (CPA, ACCA, CIMA, etc.).
• Minimum 3 years of tax experience working as a tax professional within industry or commerce (in house corporate tax experience + tax firm experience is preferred).
• Strong knowledge of tax accounting, tax compliance and all types of tax returns (preferably in the Manufacturing space).
• Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Your responsibilities include:

Mobility Consulting:

• Provide mobility consulting services to assignees and their families
• Prepare cost projection, and assignment letters and explain the relocation benefits to assignees
• Coordinate with relocation vendors on immigration and relocation logistics
• Act as the main point of contact for the assignees’ move from home to host country
• Track and monitor the progress of relocation activities
• Assist with bi-annual reviews of assignment allowances
• Assist to prepare monthly payroll instructions for assignees

Regional coordination

• Coordinate with KPMG offices on assignee tax matters
• For national insurance /pension funds, work with different KPMG entities to contact with client entities in different location

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Data Analytics or a related field.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in tax technology, tax consulting, data analyst or a related field.
• Strong understanding of business principles, regulations, and processes.
• Demonstrated experience with data analytics tools for data gathering, transformation, and analysis.

We are looking for a AP Accountant to join the team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform daily account payable duties, such as:

· Checking and processing employee expense claims

· Reviewing and posting vendor invoices

· Processing payments to vendors

· Handling vendor statement reconciliation

Prepare reports, such as:

· AP aging overview and analysis

· T&E exceptions

· IT expense drilldowns

· Handle intercompany service fees and cost recharges and reconciliation.

· Keep accurate and complete records.

· Any other ad hoc projects as assigned.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with good command of written and spoken English.

· Detail-oriented with good analytical and reporting skills.

· Basic knowledge of GST and familiarity with SAP and Concur is a plus.

Salary will commensurate with qualifications & experience.

• Address taxpayers’ tax queries on the various tax types such as Individual Income Tax, Property tax over the Helpline
• Promote and nudge taxpayers in the usage of our e-Services and chatbot
• Guide taxpayers on the step-by-step e-Filing procedures and provide advices on their filing and payment obligations
