Preschool Teacher (Playgroup)

Salary: $2300 - $2800 ( No experience needed )

5 Days work week, 9 hours shift starts from 7am

Job Scope:

• Plan, supervise and deliver teaching programme in accordance with the policies and philosophy
• Implement prescribed curriculum and prepare necessary teaching resources
• Keep accurate records of children’s progress and address children’s educational and developmental needs individually
• Prepare semi-annual developmental portfolio for PTM
• Maintain a positive relationship with parents via communication app by updating them regularly on children's activities in school and addressing any concerns they have
• Guide and supervise the Assistant Teacher in the classroom
• Be responsible for the upkeep of teaching resources, arrangement, appearance, decorations and learning environment of the classroom
• Work closely with colleagues and management to ensure a conducive environment for teaching and learning
• Be familiar with all working curriculum documents, handbooks and policy manuals

Job Requirements:

• Diploma in Early Childhood Care & Education OR Teaching: ACEY L1/L2 certified
• Fluent in English (spoken and written) as lessons are conducted in English
• Team-player and nurturing with a passion for teaching young children
• Excellent interpersonal and classroom management skills

    Skills and other requirements:
