Role Responsibilities

1. Develop and Implement Custom Solutions

• Design, develop, and deploy customized Power Apps solutions to replace existing InfoPath forms, ensuring alignment with business requirements and seamless integration with SharePoint.
• Implement Power Automate workflows to automate processes across Power Apps and SharePoint, enhancing efficiency and user experience.

2. Automate Workflows and Business Processes

• Design and develop automated workflows using Power Automate to streamline approval processes, notifications, and other business tasks.
• Optimize and troubleshoot existing workflows to improve performance and ensure reliability, minimizing manual intervention.

3. Collaborate with Stakeholders to Gather Requirements

• Engage with business and technical stakeholders to understand current workflows, gather detailed requirements, and propose solutions that leverage Power Apps and Power Automate.
• Translate complex business needs into technical requirements and provide recommendations.

This position analyses and supports the hotel’s results and performance in various revenue streams (Rooms, F&B, Spa and Boutique) and recommends strategies and expectations based on the observed data trends and market changes.

Primary Responsibilities

Manages Revenue Management Operations

• Daily rate strategies review for daily rates and inventory to ensure room revenue optimization.
• Manage distribution of rates and inventory for the various market segments to ensure accuracy and parity.
• Ensures daily communication between Reservations and Front Office colleagues regarding inventory, short-term sell strategies, Group / Convention arrivals, rate changes and sell out strategies.
• Support different revenue streams with extraction of sales figures to support and analyze initiatives.
• To accurately process and manage Group reservations.
• Daily review and optimization of F&B reservations to ensure full optimization of covers and revenue for F&B outlets.
• With direct leader’s guidance, works closely with different revenue streams to support achieving the budget and forecast expectations.

Involvement in Wider Job Function Actions / Relationships

• Surveys the market and competitors in terms of performance (RevPAR Index, market penetration), pricing and availability as a basis for future tactical decisions.
• Takes an active role in the development of rates, promotions, packages and other selling strategies.
• Ensures compliance with the Best Price Guarantee and manage third party distributors in line with AccorHotels standards.
• Identifies business opportunities for need periods and participates in various newsletters, banners, e-brochures or ads to drive incremental revenue in various revenue streams.
• Stays current with the industry trends.
• Conducts and attends relevant meetings.
• Supports AccorHotels Corporate programs, such as Planet 21.
• Ensures service standards and individual performance are aligned with Accor Values.
• Participates in developing different tactics, encompasses performance metrics, data standards, processes, policies, tools, training, best-practices and case studies to successfully roll out the strategies focusing on all revenue streams including Rooms, Food & Beverage, Spa and Raffles Boutique.

Scope of Work

a. Analyse business needs, scope the problem and develop business case to address the problem

b. Document requirements, source and evaluate alternatives, and recommend solution

c. Work with vendor on the solutions and design to seek clarification and acceptance.

d. Work with users to ensure smooth deployment and adoption of new solution

e. Perform business analysis functions such as:

i. Identify stakeholders, techniques and processes to manage, track and trace requirements

ii. Refine and clarify business need, define solution scope and develop business case

iii. Assess current state, analyse stated requirements of stakeholders and elaborate to sufficient detail that accurately defines business need with in specified scope

iv. Source and evaluate alternatives to identify solution that best fits business need, identify gaps, and determine workarounds/changes to the solution.

v. Manage conflicts, issues and changes to ensure stakeholders and project team remain in agreement on solution scope, communicate and manage expectations of stakeholders

f. Assess business needs for service requests and the impact of enhancements to the system

g. Assess problem resolution approach and implement effective service recovery of ICT incidents and establish systems and processes to prevent recurrence of the same incident

h. Understand the IT management policy, quality management policy and security guidelines to ensure the development processes, procedures and system are designed to comply with these policies and guidelines

Knowledge and Skills

a. Hands-on experience in at least 1 full project development life cycles

b. Business Analysis experience

c. Advantageous to have:

i. Prior knowledge in the system solutioning, development for mid and large-scale IT development projects

ii. Software development experience is in Python, Typescript, MongoDB, Postgresql, React, Node, Express.

c. Team player with strong organization and people handling skills
