About our client: Our client is a leading global provider of project management services for large-scale FPSO projects.

*Please note that this role will be hired on a fixed-term contract of 2 years, to support our clients' project.

About the role:

• Control FPSO TOPSIDE engineering work including Detail Engineering Subcontractors, EPC package suppliers, and supplier documents.

• Prepare and keep a detailed Engineering Procurement Construction Integration (EPCI) schedule for topside in FPSO project.

• Overall responsibility for all project activities under assigned scope management of discipline in engineering, procurement, and construction Integration.

• Coordinate and follow up with design disciplines with emphasis on the flow of inputs between design disciplines and highlight critical problems to the head of disciplines and engineering managers.

• Review project/technical specifications for FPSO topside engineering.

• Manage detail engineering subcontractor’s quality and schedule during FPSO topside detail engineering stage.

• Support in establishing project control systems for the project schedule and cost. This includes the development of the project baselines.

• Assist the Project Manager and Project Control Manager in preparing the job execution plan in the parts related with engineering schedule, budget and resource planning.

• Set-up and maintenance of control work include - scope monitoring (scope of works and supply in the Contract and those in the agreements among Joint Venture/Consortium, Sub-contractors), change order management, Overall Schedule Management, Risk Management (Risk identifications, monitoring and mitigation), Project Reporting.

• Set-up and maintain of Letter Management System and Electronic Document Management System including establishing information exchange flow and document exchange flow among Joint Venture/Consortium, Vendor and Sub-contractor.

• Hold, manage and attend regular (weekly, monthly, progress) and key meetings within Project and with other engineering design disciplines to understand design issues and work out satisfactory solutions.

• Develop and coordinate the reporting system and reflect to the project.

About you:

• Bachelor’s degree holder in Engineering.

• Minimum 6 years of working experience in project management department for an engineering company.

• At least 3 years of working experience in FPSO-related project.

• Willing to travel and/or station in module fabrication yard, structure pre-fabrication shop, detail engineering subcontractor’s office as project engineer.

• Familiar and aware of collaboration between inter-discipline engineering activities with a proactive mind.

• Familiar with scheduling software such as MS Project and Primavera.

• Must be familiar with the Electronic Document Management System.

• Familiar with material control system.

What you’ll need:

Responsibilities:

1) Responsible to the Technical Manager for ensuring that the company’s fleet of vessels is operated in accordance with the relevant statutory maritime regulations, company policy, regulations, and client’s requirements of performance and budget.

2) Monitor all aspects with regard to effective implementation of QHSE standards.

3) Provide necessary support and guidance to the CE & Master onboard vessels to enable them to nake correct decisions.

4) Maintain filing system as per the company’s procedures, class, manufacturers, etc.

5) Conduct ship visits and complete ship visit reports in accordance with the company’s system requirements.

6) Carry out and complete ship audits and safety inspections as required.

7)Implement pro-active measures to prevent occurrence of incidents.

8)Investigate incidents, near miss and initiate necessary actions to prevent recurrence.

9)Prepare and submit incident investigation report to Management for review and approval before sending it to external interested parties.

10)Conduct appraisal of Officers onboard and recommend actions.

11)Conduct Pre-selection interview of senior ER officers.

11)Liaise with external interested parties for any guidance and/or inquiry, such as class, oil majors, ship owners and suppliers, etc.

12)Monitor expenditure of all vessels and endeavor to keep cost within approved budgets.

13)Monitor and supervise the effective implementation of PMS to reduce breakdown costs.

14)Implement environmental protection and fleet energy conservation process.

15)Assist the FM to lead the work of the company's fleet engine department.

16)Control the cost and time of overhaul of machinery, as well as dry-docking assessment.

17)Monitor the company’s fleet vessels’ daily fuel oil consumption and provide guidance to vessels on proper management of fuel oil and/or any required maintenance.

18)Maintain good communication, coordination, and cooperation with colleagues within technical department and other departments.
