As a Software Support Engineer, you will gain valuable hands-on experience in the following domain:

• Automate and enhance business and technical processes to increase productivity seamlessly based on RPA (Robotic Process Automation)
• Participate in discussions with stakeholders to understand business and technical requirements
• Perform end user support – client management
• Perform first-level troubleshooting for client platform related problems and escalate to next level support team if necessary
• Respond promptly to incident, create incident tickets, investigate & provide temporary/permanent resolution of incidents escalated
• Provide timely status updates, reports on SLA, and ticket aging to relevant parties
• Track/monitor tickets for potential SLA breaches, escalate for attention to prevent SLA misses
• Analyse and recommend ways to reduce incident tickets as part of continuous improvement spirit

What should you have:

• ITE Certificate in Computer Science or related IT/Engineering fields
• ITE Graduate with less than two years of relevant working experience
• Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, good team player and highly collaborative

You are our product validator. You will work closely with our product design team to ensure that our software and/or hardware products meet their specifications in terms of functionality, performance and quality.

If the product behaves unexpectedly, you will analyse and troubleshoot the failures. As our products are deeply embedded, you may find yourself challenged to work in situations with minimal observability and control.

Responsibilities

· Work with the product design team to determine product test parameters

· Come up with test plans and create test cases for product(s), including performance tests

· Carry out system level tests on product(s)

· Define system requirements for in-house test jigs, where applicable

· Troubleshoot and analyse product failures, and streamline testing procedures

· Conduct quality assurance testing

· Build and run automated tests using automated test tools

· Prepare test procedures for technicians to follow

· Train technicians to follow test procedures and provide technical support when needed

· Ensure all tests and procedures meet company and industry standards

· Write test reports for submission to management / and or customer

· Liaise with external vendors for externally conducted tests such as EMI / EMC, environmental tests

Requirements

· Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, software engineering, computer science, or computer engineering

· At least 1 year work experience as a test engineer, testing hardware and/or software

· Familiarity with hardware/and or software testing tools

· Skilled in at least 1 scripting language, e.g. Python

· Extensive knowledge of engineering and testing procedures

· Good problem-solving skills, with attention to detail

· Keen to find bugs

· Willingness to perform repeated tests when necessary

· Ability to troubleshoot and think out of the box

· Ability to work independently and with a team

· High-level technical writing skills

Advantageous to have

Responsibilities:

• Develop new applications / sub-modules in accordance to the technical and system design specifications for the Business
• Maintain and enhance the existing modules / applications and implement the system changes based on the functional specifications given
• Propose and implement new methodology / framework / algorithm which will benefit the development processes as well as business goals
• Interact extensively with internal /external business users to understand business issues and challenges for Taxi business, translating the above into technical specifications for system design and development
• Provide guidance to staff / system developers on system development and design
• Lead and manage the assigned projects plus on-going support activities

Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent discipline
• At least 8 years of Software Development with 2 years leadership experience
• Familiarity with Linux and Windows platforms, Java, C# and .NET
• Familiar with databases and application servers such as Oracle, PostgreSQL and JBoss

Responsibilities:

• To receive and record technical and/ or application support and act as a level 1 support and provide investigation, diagnosis, resolution and recovery for application issues. Training will be provided.
• To maintain overall ownership of issues and ensure that issues are resolved within service level agreement. Escalate priority issues to level 2 support if required.
• To perform systems administration/ maintenance and works toward continuous optimization of systems performance.
• To administer local development servers and environments, such as setup, configuration, user account management and backup management.
• To manage, coordinate, and implement software upgrades, patches, hot fixes on infrastructure managed.
• To provide occasional after hours support for routine preventive system maintenance (remote support).
• To perform database administration such as SQL Server
• To assist Technical Manager on any other tasks as instructed

• Resolve incidents within SLA timeframe and perform root cause analysis, finding to solve the problems.
• Escalate unsolvable incident/ problem to the Operation Lead or Service Delivery Manager.
• Escalate to OEM/ vendor / subcontractor for technical support.
• Implement service requests and change requests and complete all requests within SLA timeframe.
• Ensure deployments of approved patches/ releases/ configuration changes for operation system and system software are implemented to change request accordingly.
• Ensure proper backup of the administrated systems and performing system recovery if needed.
• Conduct regular testing to verify configuration or backup data.
• Maintain the configuration of the system.
• Support the integration of new technologies into existing environments.

What will you be doing?

Reporting to the company’s Customer Support Manager, you will work as the Support Engineer (Wet Clean Equipment) in Company’s Group HQ in Singapore.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Provide technical support for the installation, operation and start-up of new wet clean equipment.
2. Troubleshoot, repair and upgrade equipment hardware and software.
3. Participate in the development, design, and improvement of new equipment.
4. Provide maintenance and service of new equipment.
5. Assist the customer equipment department in training operators and writing equipment maintenance manuals.
6. Parts repair and engineering; legacy tool upgrade and retrofit
7. Create installation and service report

Technical Requirements:

1. Basic understanding of semiconductor wafer fab equipment and its major modules/components.
2. Experience in semiconductor equipment assembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Past working experience in wafer fab is an added advantage.
3. Basic knowledge in mechanical design (AutoCad, SolidWorks, or related software), electronic control system design experience, or knowledge of equipment design programming in industrial PLC/PC.
4. Experience in control system application software development is an added advantage.

Qualifications:

1. Diploma or higher in mechanical, electrical, electronics, mechatronics, automation, or related majors.
2. More than 3 years of relevant working experience in equipment maintenance and service, with at least 1 year of experience in the semiconductor electronics industry equipment maintenance and service.
3. Willing to travel regionally and internationally for extended period of time.
4. Proficient in mechanical or electrical equipment-related theory and hands-on.
5. Strong ability to analyze and solve machine related issues, with strong hands-on ability, sense of responsibility, and good communication and teamwork skills.
6. Ability to independently complete equipment maintenance and service work.
7. Good communication skills in English
8. Proficient in Microsoft Office Word & Excel.
