1. Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Information Technology/Information Systems/Computer Science, Business IT or its equivalent

2. At least 5 years of experience in administration and implementation

3. Good knowledge of the following, but not limited to:

• Firewall technologies (high availability, virtual firewall concept)
• IP load balancer
• Distribution and core switches
• Router configuration (high availability) o LAN and WAN administration

1. Good co-ordination skills and good technical knowledge of M&E systems/ equipment, including security systems
2. To carry out regular site supervision and inspection of the works/materials including any off-site production as instructed by the consultant team so as to ensure that mechanical and electrical works, including security systems, are constructed to required quality, accuracy and workmanship
3. To monitor work in progress in accordance to Approved Master Schedules with breakdown to Monthly, Weekly and Daily programmes
4. To assist the RE on daily, weekly and monthly reports of site progress as per contractor’s approved program, activities, issues and resolutions
5. To check and verify reports, variations and progress claims submitted by contractors, including as built quantity for the variations
6. To undertake any other duties related to the project as and when instructed by the SO and RE.

Job Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair pumps/motors and machines, including disassembly and reassembly to repair or replace worn or malfunctioning components and consumables.
• Address and resolve customer issues through close interaction, including explaining problem diagnoses and discussing repair options.
• Attend on-site requests and repairs, including on-board vessel services.
• Participate in ongoing training events sponsored by the company to stay up-to-date on the latest technology and repair options.
• Generate inspection and test reports, maintaining proper documentation of all maintenance and repair records.

A brief summary of your job responsibility:

• Work with outsourced service providers and product principals to manage the delivery, operations as well as Tech Refresh on the technology solutions for LAN/WAN and related services:
• Cisco/Aruba networking solution;
• Network Access Control;
• F5 LoadBalancer;
• Wireless Network; and
• Firewall and routers.

•  Work with infrastructure architects to rationalize the technical design and ensure the solution works well with Government infrastructure, policies, standards and security requirements.
• Translate the technical solution/design into technical specifications and functional requirements.
• Ensure the operations process and controls are clearly documented and operationalized
• Explore new solutions and technologies, integrate learning and recommendations for operational efficiency and continual improve of the infrastructure for better user experience.
• Plan, design and support Technology Refresh and migration activities for the infrastructure services.
• Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the area of design, deployment, operation and management of enterprise and/or cloud infrastructure.
• Provide operation support for the secure infrastructure.
• Ensure smooth service delivery and implementation within the business context.

To succeed in this role, you will ideally have:

• At least 3 years of experience in the above domain areas.
• Proven planning, implementation and migration experience of network related services.
• Team player with strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of ITIL processes and procedures.
• Ability to justify new initiatives and recommend new initiatives to stakeholder(s).
• Conceptualise the concept of operation for the new initiatives.
• Familiar with tendering process, defining requirements in tender specification.
• Team player by leading discussion between internal teams (Operations, Security, Contract) and external product principals or system integrator.
• Requires minimal supervision from supervisor.
• Always keeping up to date of the latest product roadmap and best practices.
• Define policies and procedures related to Endpoint Management.
• Good written and verbal communication, with the ability to present and communicate effectively with non-technical audience.
• Provide inputs to optimise and automate workflows and processes.
• Able to work independently and as a good team player with analytical, management and planning skills.

• Offer technical support and expertise advice to customers (both internal and external) on product selection, solutions and other applications knowledge.
• Do regular site visits as part of field learning experiences and also to help troubleshoot issues as necessary.
• Work with sales team to provide customers with product demonstrations and company presentations, technical solution and products offer.
