Job description:
We are seeking specialist to fill in the role of a Technical/Engineering Services Manager for waterproofing construction projects in Singapore. The successful applicant's primary responsibility is to provide support for Triflex waterproofing product application to all our customers. He will work closely with building contractors, engineers, site supervisors and facility managers to create solutions for waterproofing challenges and to demonstrate application techniques waterproofing projects. This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for an ambitious individual with a passion for specialist waterproofing products and the desire to make a real difference in the building industry.
The successful applicant shall be responsible for:
1. Product presentations and demonstration
2. Development and implementation of technical training program for applicators
3. Analysis of project site requirements
4. Assessment of business opportunities for Triflex products
5. Support on clients' project execution throughtout its term
6. Safety briefing and risk assessment
7. Applicator training and competency check
8. Compliance oversight (method statement, safety protocols, building standards)
9. Client relationship building (decision makers, designers / planners, project execution team)
10. Reporting and documentation (project status, technical meetings /trainings)
Qualifications Required
1. Minimum 3 years working experience as a site supervisor for building envelope construction, specializing in waterproofing, roofing, flooring or tiling.
2. Well acquainted with various building envelope materials and construction methodologies.
3. Extensive experience in handling waterproofing materials, application techniques, industry standards, as well as local regulations and building codes for waterproofing in Singapore.
4. Proven track record in working with project engineers, building contractors and property owners.
5. Able to understand shop drawings and specification documents.
6. Demonstrated ability to build rapport and maintain strong relationships with customers and partners.
7. A good command both spoken and written English as the job requires communicating with both local and regional (Asia Pacific) clients and business enablers. Knowledge of local language is an advantage.
8.The job requires extensive travelling (local and overseas), conducting building survey including lifting heavy loads as well as flexibility to work under varying schedule.
9. Possesses class 3 driving license in Singapore.
