• Design Engineering Management: Including but not limited to the management of aircraft and aircraft systems design in compliance with Part-21 or equivalent regulations.

Primary Responsibilities

The Senior Technical Experts (STE) will work with the relevant team members of an assigned aircraft manufacturing company (Client) to support the generation of documents, test plans, and reports as required for design and showing of compliance. The aim is to grow the Client’s team to high levels of the right expertise by being technical mentors and by leading-by-example. The STE may also be asked to assist and advise the Client in reviewing engineering designs, plans, and organizational procedures to ensure that their organization has the right capabilities for effective design assurance.

Technical Manager (Broadcasting)

Working Days & Hours: 5 Day | Mon-Fri: 9am-6pm

Working Location: Changi South
Salary Range: $8000 - $9500 + Bonus

Job Responsibilities:

• Support Head of Engineering in training and developing the engineers on technical matters, including handling and operating all broadcast equipment.
• Assist with engineering technical tasks to ensure smooth running of daily engineering operations.
• Establish an SOP for Site Survey and prepare Production and Technical Integration Layout Plan. To review and make relevant updates as required for process improvement.
• Implement design and make permanent layout for racks along with serial numbers and standard placing of panels.
• Support Head of Engineering to improve and test system designs.
• Support process of racks and kit standardization.
• Collaborate with Head of Engineering to establish a process for equipment testing and preparation. To review and make relevant updates on a yearly basis for process improvement.
• Ensure a process is in place for communication / escalation of technical problems on all projects.
• Research technical development standards for present and new technologies. Provide technical support of the company's service to clients.
• Design the project template to cover the tasks needed for each project.
• Keep the project task updated for each project on hand.

Job Requirement:

• Degree qualified in Electrical / Communication / Broadcast Engineering or similar related field.
• 10+ years of relevant work experience.
• An expert in equipment and products used in broadcasting; for example, audio and vision mixers, radio communication products, cameras, and camera lens.
• Experienced in technical training for knowledge transfer.
• Able to carry out physical tasks due to the nature of job.
• Able to travel overseas for regional and international projects.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minmum Diploma in civil/structural discipline or equivalent and shall be accredited by JAC of IES/ACES as QSS
• Minimum 3 years of relevant exprience in projects similar in nature to the works
• Candidate with experience in medical and/or healthcare projects will be an advantage.
• Experience in large scale addition and alteration work at live building.
• Strong knowledge of Architectural details, working drawings and local construction practice.
• Basic knowledge of C&S and M&E drawings.
• Conversant with Singapore Statutes, Building Codes and Regulations.
• Experience in supervision of building construction, architectural and fitting out works.
• Good leadership skills, ability to manage and organise a large site staff team.
• Ability to use Autocad, Microsoft Project Programming and Management Software and related software.
