• Conduct site Audit on the sub-contractor/vendor.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related field.

Experience

• 5 years QAQC experiences in EPC projects.
• Knowledge in Inspection of Pressure Vessel, Piping, FRP tanks, Rotating equipment such as pumps, fans, agitators, etc.
• Knowledge in Non-Destructive Test such as RT, UT, PT, MT and able to interpret test results.
• Able to read, understand and interpret technical requirements, quality procedures, drawings, P&ID.

What qualifications or skills should you possess in this role?

1. Plan, design and construction management of Mechanical services for all types of building projects.

• Perform all roles and responsibilities required of site supervisors under the Building Control Act, regardless whether their names are stated in the form BEV_B1;

• To ensure CAG emergency preparedness protocols are adhered to by the contractors during trial runs or actual emergencies;
• To attend site, progress, variation and coordination meetings and to keep proper minutes of these meetings. To follow up and report to QP(S), QP(D) and CAG within two (2) days for site issues raised during the meetings;
• Attend QAQC meetings, monitor and check on quality on all works and materials on site; take measures to rectify any non-compliance and report of any materials that are not conforming to the Specifications;
• To facilitate the timely taking over of site parcels to be handed over by other contractors and highlight any issues that will delay the progress of the works;
• To take and carry out instructions from and represent the QP(S), QP(D) and CAG on site;
• To review all drawings (including shop drawings, construction drawings) and method statements and risk assessments to ensure that works are carried out in accordance with the approved plans for discrepancies and report to the Superintending Officer / Contractor / QPs, including checking of as-built drawings and Operation & Maintenance Manual submitted by the contractors and ensuring that the required construction tests associated with the construction works are carried out where necessary;
• Coordinate and compile the As-Built information for record purposes timely.
• Monitor the quality and progress of defects rectification works when necessary.
• Ensure that daily records of all civil and structural engineering works including records of tests, defect rectification, inspections, work progress, material and equipment on site, safety, site diary, labour force, day works,provisional items or provisional quantities etc, are updated in a timely manner and properly kept;
• Keep accurate records of variations as instructed or approved and to maintain a set of updated drawings on site;
• Together with the safety team, provide overview of WSH and aerodrome safety management systems and risk analyses and implementation of safe working practices on site, provide safety oversight and ensure main contractors and their sub contractors adhere to the approved safe work
• procedures for the works and all relevant CAG and regulatory safety requirements; ensure mitigation controls in updated risk registers (Programme/Aerodrome/DfS) are duly implemented on site;
• Liaise with all relevant authorities;

• Undertake any other duties includign administrative tasks related to the project as and when instructed by the SRE, Consultants or CAG

Qualification:

• Minimum four (4) years of relevant experience as a civil & structural engineer, of which at least 3 years shall be in supervision of works in projects similar in size and complexity; in particular deep excavation and foundation, cut and cover tunnel works and building works;
• Possess a civil and structural engineering degree recognised by the Professional Engineers Board of Singapore;
• Accredited with the Joint Accreditation Committee of the Institution of Engineers Singapore and the Association of Consulting Engineers Singapore;
• Lead C&S and/or geotechnical site staff to monitor, supervise and inspect works as directed by CAG, QP(S), SRE, the project consultants and FUI owners. He must possess good leadership qualities, organisational and inter-personal skills;
• Conversant with statutory code and requirements for site supervision, quality control procedures, construction administration and submission of progress report;

Responsibilities

• Able to manage project with minimal supervision;
• Attends external project kick-off meetings, meetings with clients or consultants as well as technical and co-ordination meetings, project meetings and internal project closure meeting;
• Ensures the adherence to the safe work procedure (SWP) established; and implement risk control measures;
• Resolves site problems proactively in a timely manner;
• Ensures the timely preparation of project progress and other reports;
• Follows up on all aspects of QA/QC matters; records all defects works and ensure proper documentation;
• Co-ordinates daily activities of workers’ duties and to ensure that they are performed in a proper manner;
• Makes daily checks on work progress, housekeeping and safety implementation on site with safety personnel;
• Assists in cost control by reducing materials wastage, usage of tools and equipment, etc;
• Request and initiate orders of materials required for projects;
• Documentation on project progress and damage;
• Ensures proper project documentation including email communication;
• Any other related duties as assigned.

Requirement

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or. Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with working experience.
• Knowledgeable in MS Office, MS Project and able to read construction drawing.

As an HVAC Technician, he will maintain mechanical and electrical equipment for commercial HVAC systems at facilities by conducting proactive performance testing and ongoing scheduled maintenance.

Core Responsibilities:

• Install, repair, adjust, and maintain small electric or pneumatic control systems used for building. This includes heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems and equipment.
• Conduct ongoing maintenance on building HVAC equipment to ensure proper equipment operation and compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, and work safety.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures and determine the best course of action for equipment modifications.
• Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems while having a limited opportunity to exercise discretion.

Requirements:

• Nitec / Diploma with 1 - 2 years of job-related experience.
• Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 20kg or more.
• Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
• Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
