Responsibility
You will be part of a team in the Corporate Services Department responsible for the operation and maintenance of building facilities. (e.g. Building maintenance, audio visual (AV) and video conferencing (VC) systems, recording studio facilities, Mechanical & Electrical systems (M&E) etc). Your primary role is to carry out day-to-day operation and maintenance of AV, VC and recording studio facilities and working with various stakeholders for successful work delivery of meetings, events, webinars, recordings, video production etc.
You will also have the opportunity to assist in the planning and execution of various improvement and upgrading works on building facilities. These could involve feasibility studies, technical specifications, preparation of procurement document, work supervision, system testing and commissioning and defect rectifications.
Your responsibilities include:
• Plan, coordinate and attend to all requests to support department internal and external major meetings, webinars, events, recordings and video production. Understand user’s requirement and provide technical support accordingly.
• Plan, set up and operate the control room and studio equipment for live events or recordings.
• Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to help facilitate the creation and post production of multimedia content.
• Conduct regular preventive and corrective maintenance works to ensure the systems are in good working condition, whilst keeping an up-to-date inventory for audit.
• Oversee various AV contractors to ensure they deliver their services in accordance with the respective contracts and service level agreements. Manage and administer contracts and assess the contractors’ performance regularly (e.g. verification of service rendered and payment).
• Manage and assist in procurement works including but not limited to drafting of contract specifications, seeking funding approval, tender calling, tender evaluation and seeking approval for tender award.
• Assist the Team Lead in managing a team of technicians.
Job Requirements:
• Degree or Diploma in Media / Mas Communications / Audio Visual or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in broadcasting and live production or AV and VC operation and maintenance with supervisory responsibility.
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, After Effects, Premier Pro, Creative Suite and photographic skills
• Good understanding of hardware (cameras, video switchers, lighting, sound) and software (TriCaster, OBS, vMix) needed to run professional videos and live streams.
• Experience with filming equipment and studio production, with working experience on production sets or part of a production team.
• Experience in Project Management of large-scale AV implementations will be an advantage.
• Proficient and experience with AV and VC systems (Crestron/Extron/Cisco/Bosch) will be an advantage.
• Up-to-date on new broadcasting, AV and VC technological developments.
• Independent worker and a good team player who is comfortable in working in a fast-pace and dynamic environment.
• Good writing and interpersonal skills with a customer-oriented mindset.
