Duties/Responsibilities:

• Emergency response: Act promptly in emergencies, notify relevant personnel, and follow safety protocols.
• Quality and safety: Ensure compliance with quality standards and health/safety regulations.
• Product and parts sourcing: Procure items for general repairs, e.g., drywall and bathroom fixtures.
• Preventative maintenance: Monitor and execute scheduled preventive maintenance.
• Routine inspections: Regularly inspect premises and equipment for any issues.
• Contractor oversight: Supervise contractors during professional repairs.
• Project participation: Engage in various projects, including alteration works.
• System functionality: Verify the functionality of building systems like irrigation.
• Additional duties: Perform other required duties and activities.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Work status reporting: Proficient in creating reports to update management on work status.
• Experience criteria: Preferably possess a minimum of three years in building maintenance, construction, plumbing, or electrician roles; however, it is not obligatory.
• Carpentry and repair expertise: Knowledgeable in general carpentry and repair practices.
• A&A project management: Experienced in overseeing Alteration and Addition (A&A) projects.
• Physical capabilities: Must be physically capable of climbing ladders, bending, or maneuvering in confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the full development lifecycle including design, estimation, planning, development, unit test, release, and implementation support
• Work with the Business Analyst and Solution Architects to understand the business requirements
• Translate them to technical solutions in the application
• Write technical specifications and ensure proper traceability with detailed specifications & code
• Create and implement a good practice of coding, testing and deploying
• Assure code review
• Experience in architecture design will be a plus (N Tiers, Serverless...)
• Experience in Micro services is mandatory
• Experience with containerization tools (ex: Docker) and migration will be a plus.

Profile

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in IT or Computer Science.
• 8-10 years of overall experience in professional Software Development
• Hands-on experience with various Java/web technologies and frameworks: Spring (Core, Security, MVC), Hibernate, JPA, REST, JMS, Maven; etc.
• Have a very good knowledge of design patterns and development principles SDLC.
• Hands on experience with Java 17
• Proven/previous experience with CI/CD & Agile
• Strong critical thinker with problem-solving aptitude
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Track record on GIT usage TDD, BDD
• Other desirable exp: Node js, MongoDB, SoIR, Elastic search, contributing to open-source projects.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology
• At least 8 years of software development experience with ability to resolve complex IT issues
• Experienced in leading technical design from inception to proof of concept
• Highly proficient in using advanced features in Java programming language
• Java 8 development with multi-threading principles, good knowledge of Java data structure and objects
• Good knowledge of algorithms and data structures
• Strong fundamentals in data complexity analysis
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, and tooling
• Experience in Apache Storm, Flink and Spark
• Experience in cloud technologies
• Experience in Parrallel processing of the message transformation pipeline to fPML, Json and key/value
• Kafka publishing/distribution primarily and MQ
• Microservices, defining APIs and registering APIs in the service catalogue, APIs and functions
• Experience with Jira tracking system
