Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced AWS Technical Architect to design, implement, and optimize cloud infrastructure solutions on AWS. This role will focus on ensuring our cloud environment is secure, scalable, and compliant with GovTech’s IM8 guidelines. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in AWS services, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), networking, and advanced AWS tools. Experience with Government Commercial Cloud (GCC).

Key Responsibilities:

Cloud Architecture and Design:

· Design and implement scalable, secure, and efficient cloud solutions on AWS.

· Develop architectural frameworks for cloud-native applications.

· Ensure cloud solutions meet regulatory and security compliance, including IM8 guidelines.

Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

· Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using tools like Terraform.

· Implement CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.

Networking and Security

· Design and manage secure network configurations (VPCs, subnets, security groups, etc.).

· Implement robust security measures, including IAM policies, encryption, and monitoring.

Compute, Storage, and Database Solutions

· Optimize AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, and DynamoDB.

· Develop strategies for high availability, disaster recovery, and data redundancy.

Monitoring, Logging, and Alerting

· Implement and maintain monitoring solutions using CloudWatch, OpenSearch, and third-party tools.

· Set up alerts and dashboards to ensure system health and performance.

GCC

· Design and implement solutions within the Government Commercial Cloud (GCC).

Advanced AWS Tools and Technologies

· Utilize advanced AWS tools such as Kinesis, Chime, OpenSearch, and Generative AI (GenAI) frameworks, including Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).

· Explore new AWS offerings to improve infrastructure efficiency and scalability.

Required Skills and Experience:

Mandatory Skills:

· Cloud Architecture and Design

· Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform

· Networking and Security (VPCs, IAM, etc.)

· Compute, Storage, and Database Solutions (EC2, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, etc.)

· Monitoring, Logging, and Alerting (CloudWatch, OpenSearch)

· Experience with GCC

Highly Valued Skills:

· Advanced AWS services: Kinesis, Chime, OpenSearch

· Experience with Generative AI solutions (RAG framework)

· Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automation tools

Job Responsibilities

• Perform gas installation work and gas supply turn-on in domestic units
• Perform soundness test on gas installation.
• Perform site survey on gas installation feasibility and rectification work.
• Ensure gas installation comply with the Code of Practice (SS608), Regulations, SOP etc.
• Coordinate with the relevant authorities (e.g. SPPG, SCDF, HDB, EMA) and other external agencies on installation matters.
• Attend to customer enquiries/ feedback and perform service recoveries.
• Report writing.
• Any other duties as assigned by supervisor, which may include driving company vehicle to attend to work arrangements.

Requirements

• Diploma in Mechanical or any Engineering discipline.
• Relevant work experience and technical knowledge in gas, plumbing, sanitary, or electrical systems will be an advantage.
• Able to work independently and as a team player.
• Possess good interpersonal and communication skills, with experience in contract management and customer service.
• Possess a driving license (class 2 & 3), preferably with access to personal transport.

Responsibilities:

-Inspection and supervision of workplace safety-related works as required under the project and mandated under the Building Control Act & Regulations and Workplace safety and Health Act & Regulations.

-Inspect and conduct all required tests/inspections for the project.

-Preparation & issuance of site memos on bad workmanship & non-compliant works.

-Observe and comply with site safety, submit all reports as directed, and ensure that works are carried out in a safe and proper manner

-Attend and witness all on-site inspections as required by the Client and authorities.

-Others duties and responsibilities listed in project's contract.

Job Requirements:

-Candidate must be registered with BCA/IES as Resident Technical Officer

-At least 3 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

-Required Skill(s): Supervise workplace safety-related matters.

-Must attain certification in "BCSS" and "Develop a Risk Management Implementation Plan (bizSAFE Level 2)".

-Preferably specialized in workplace safety-related certificates or equivalent.

-Good communication skills

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Provide support to the superintendent in the planning, execution, and finalization of dry dock and repair projects, and attend the project site as required.

- Assist the superintendent with the preparation of the OPEX budget.

- Coordinate and arrange service engineers for boarding operations.

- Review, update, and prepare vessel shareholder presentations for timely submission.

- Maintain records of fleet service arrangements and End of Month (EOM) reports, including technical bulletins from manufacturers.

- Prepare and complete monthly post-meeting reports for Charterers/Fleet.

- Administer the disbursement account, ensuring line items and account codes are accurately detailed.

- Review Management Meeting minutes and provide a summary to the superintendent.

- Distribute monthly Class status reports to vessels, including details on expiring certificates.

- Assist with tasks related to EU ETS, EUMRV, and IMO DCS compliance.

- Support the review and processing of PAL occurrences as guided by the Fleet Manager, and help the superintendent close occurrences using Tableau data.

- Appoint Agents following the superintendent's instructions.

- Handle any other required documentation and filing tasks as assigned by the team.

- Assist the superintendent with Guarantee claims management.

- Support both internal and external Survey and Audit Requirements.

- Monitor and report progress on the Teams' "Management of Change" initiatives.

- Review and manage fleet weekly operational data and monthly KPIs, ensuring that the fleet team stays informed.

- Create and finalize presentations for Charterers/Owners as needed by the Fleet team.

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in ship management, maritime operations, or a related science discipline).

- Training in Secretarial skills.

- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

Work under the control and direction of the appropriate Qualified Person when carry out their supervision and fully responsible to the appropriate QP.

· To liaise and conduct inspection with the Main Contractors Engineer/Supervisor.

· To assist Resident Engineer on all structural works carried out according to approved drawings

· To monitor the progress and assist Resident Engineer on structural inspection on all Structural works according to the approved drawings issued.

· To conduct C&S inspection for works the inspections forms submit by Main Contractor Engineer/Supervisor and maintain proper records.

· To check and monitor the Structural works according to the contract drawings, specifications, approved shop drawings and method of statements

Requirements:

· RTO registration with IES is mandatory

· Diploma in Civil/Structural discipline or NCSS.

· Have at least 3 years of experience in site supervision of works

· Min 2 years of experience in supervision of precast concrete element launching work for vehicular structures.

Review electrical engineering drawings and refer issues requiring changes.

Assign job tasks and work as per electrical project schedules.

Review all electrical drawings with Leadmen performing on assigned jobs to them.

Stimulate fabrication standards to ensure quality work attained from assigned staff.

Recruit, guide, train, monitor and terminate assigned employees as required.

Recommend effective solutions specified particular weight related to employment status of employees.
