Risk Assessment & Compliance:

• Conduct risk assessments for route selection, water crossings, and compressor stations, identifying and mitigating potential risks such as geological instability or environmental impact.
• Ensure all design and engineering activities comply with international and local codes (e.g., API 1104, ASME B31.8) and health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Field Support:

• Provide engineering support during construction phases, including site inspections, troubleshooting, and quality control to ensure adherence to design specifications.

Regulatory and Environmental Permitting:

• Support the regulatory approval process by preparing documentation and liaising with authorities for permitting processes related to land acquisition, waterbody crossings, and construction approvals.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Pipeline Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 15+ years of experience in onshore pipeline engineering, particularly in natural gas and knowledge in hydrogen pipelines.
• Proven expertise in designing road and water crossings and directional drilling and other trenching methods.
• Strong knowledge of compressor station and valve station design, including material selection and flow dynamics.
• Proficiency in pipeline design and analysis software
• Familiarity with relevant international standards and codes.
• Ability to perform route selection using GIS tools and manage environmental impact assessments.
• Excellent project management skills, with experience in overseeing multidisciplinary teams and contractors.

Preferred Qualifications
