• Attend to any major repairs / modifications if required to be carried out in close coordination with the classification society.
• Attend to new building at the shipyard as and when required by the company
• Attend Class surveys, PSC / FSC inspections, dry docking surveys etc.
• Prepare yearly budget of the vessel’s routine maintenance, dry docking, repairs, stores and spares.
• Monitor procurement of stores, spares, services and repairs.
• Monitor the ships’ performance on the daily basis to ensure that the ships’ are performing as required and be able to monitor and troubleshoot any technical and /or maintenance issues which are either detected through monitoring or are raised by the ship’s staff.
• Control costs by monitoring expenditure of repairs, maintenance, spares and stores to ensure that it remains within the approved budget
• Guide and Monitor the ship staff and report their performance to the office.
• Identify areas for improvements and modifications and make recommendations for efficient operation of the vessels
• To plan implementation and compliance of latest rules & regulations, technology advancements, energy efficiency measures and environment protection measures as applicable to vessels

Job Requirements:

• Chief Engineer on ocean going vessel with proven sea service of minimum 3 years under an internationally recognized Certificate (Motor)
• 3-4 years experience as a Superintendent from a Shipping company preferred

• Knowledge in Class, FSC, PSC, ISM, ISPS and other statutory requirements

Job Responsibility

· Responsible for the lead of the regional design team. This team takes responsibility for leading all the design work for the data centers located in APEC, the team members are based in the APEC area either. Comprehensive management of the design work for all the projects.

· Responsible for the Data Center’s design, especially leading & managing the design of the new hyper-scale data center in APEC. Ensuring that all design/ consultant work performed is in accordance with established practices, procedures & internal technical standards. Being the project design manager, following up on the project schedule and strategy, supporting the project manager to complete the project.

· Responsible for the technical evaluation/support for new site selection in the APEC.

· Responsible for the regional /local procurement technical support. Ensuring that all the technical performance meets the technical requirements of the project and the company’s internal standards specification. Technical support for the cost optimization & control of the project.

· Responsible for leading the research of advanced technology in the data center area, analyzing the possibility of application of the new technology. Developing and revising the internal data center technical standards and applying the standards to each data center.

· Responsible for the Technical support for procurement of the main equipment, ensuring all the equipment’s parameters can satisfy the technical requirements from the company’s internal standards specifications.

Basic Qualifications

Job Objective/s

Design and develop optoelectronics devices, including but not limited to FP lasers, DFB lasers, electro-absorption modulator/laser, photonics integrated circuits and their packaged modules, as well as photonics systems such as external cavity lasers to meet design goals and requirements.

To develop test set-ups and capabilities aligned to the company’s technology and product roadmap, and to integrate them with in-house manufacturing capabilities.

Duties and Responsibilities

▪ Primary responsibility is Design and develop the DFB/FP new products ,test methodologies, set-ups, and testing plans and procedures to characterize the optical, electrical, RF, and thermal performance of optoelectronic devices.

▪ Perform test and characterization runs to support the test requirements of New Product Innovation, New Requirement Engineering, Request For Customization, and Product Improvement projects.

▪ Perform waveguide and optical coupling tests of passive components, and electro-optical tests to characterize active optoelectronic devices and photonic integrated circuits.

▪ Analysis of measured test results together with correlation to design requirements and simulation results to iterate towards improvement in design and performance of the optoelectronic devices and packaged modules.

▪ Generate test reports with measurement results and detailed analyses in a timely manner.

▪ Work closely with the wafer fab, assembly and packaging, design, and product teams of both in-house and outsourced partners.

Qualification Guidelines

Minimum Education

• Degree or Post-graduate degree (MSc/MPhil/PhD/EngD or equivalent) in Optoelectronics/Photonics/Electronics/Electrical Engineering/Physics or similar.
• Training in semiconductor-based light-emitting optoelectronics is preferred.

Minimum Experience

• Minimum of 3 years’ working experience with technical background in optoelectronics, optical components, and photonic device systems and sub-systems.
• Proven working experience in the optoelectronics manufacturing industry.
