Class Timings:

Class 1: Tue & Thu, 9.30am to 12.30pm

The hourly rate will range from $120 - $160 per hour.

We will be looking at a monthly block of 8-10 hours for all our classes.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Specialize in processes and perform detailed troubleshooting and failure analysis
• Guide technicians and operators to achieve the required output and quality
• Check on supplementary materials changes to ensure they are properly done

Job Description:

• Familiar with HVAC offshore / marine regulations and rules, such as, SOLAS, ABS, DNV, NORSOK, ASHRAE, ISO 7547, 8861 etc.
• Preparation of cooling load calculation, ventilation system design, air conditioning design, pressure drop calculation, duct sizing, grille/diffuser sizing, material take off etc.
• Responsible for HVAC equipment sizing and selection.
• Preparation of P&ID, D&ID and ducting layout drawings etc.
• Preparation of electrical single line diagram, cable block diagram, control diagram, termination diagram, electrical load calculation HVAC system logic diagram, HVAC Cable schedule etc.
• Create shop drawings based on client given information, specifications, calculations and drawing to incorporating all details of shop drawingsMake the drawings in keeping with company standards
• Provide MTO based on drawing details
• Able to read P&ID drawings, update as-building (e.g. redline)
• Explain drawings to Production or construction teams and provide adjustments as necessary
• Clarify and solve problems raised by production
• Provide technical support for project management
• Coordinate with team members and other discipline

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of working experiences in the same field
• Must be able to work in an environment with schedules and priorities
• Hands on knowledge on AutoCAD is essential. Knowledge and experience with SpoolGen set up for project will be advantage

Job Scope

• Operate and maintain all passive and active network equipment in Cable Landing Station (CLS) environment including but not limiting to SLTE, PFE, DWDM, Open Cable Access Equipment (OCAE), AC/DC Power, etc.
• Operate and maintain all active Local Loop Networks in Singapore which include but not limited to DWDM and local loop Optical cable networks connecting CLS with various POPs
• Coordinate with customer’s and internal logistic team in handling both inbound and outbound shipping and return requests
• Maintain and perform audit on inventory spares
• Perform 24x7 standby duties including weekends and public holidays
• Conduct onsite site survey and compile post survey report
• Possess good understanding of networking equipment, Wireless AP, Switch, Router, Firewall, load-balancer etc
• Familiar with fiber optic network transmission, using single mode vs mulit-mode as backhaul
• Possess knowledge in network design, especially in High Availability environment
• To perform onsite commissioning/troubleshooting of ONT/Router/Firewall/AP
• To ensure the orders are completed as per CRD (Customer Request Date)

Requirements

• At least Higher NITEC or Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
• At least 1 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position
• Able to commit to a 5.5 day work week
• Proficient in MS Office Applications such as MS Words, Excel, Power Point
• Good understanding of LAN/WAN/Wireless technologies
• Knowledge in using power meter, OTDR and performing BERT/RFC2544 test using tester
• Class 3/3A license is mandatory
• Prior hands-on experience with Cisco and HPE/Aruba equipment
• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification preferred
• Good written communications, presentation and interpersonal skills
